Thanks for sharing! I know I'm late to the party, but I'm a bit curious about your bronze sport, I got mine about a year ago now and it is still rose gold-y, even though it has been in my pocket almost every day since I got it. I would love to have seen it patina a bit more. My traveler's pen has a beautiful patina, but it is also a several years older. The traveler's pen even spent a winter buried in the snow. I thought it was gone for good, but I found it during the spring thaw.

I love my mediums because they display inks so much better. Each to their own though. 😊

Love the diverse collection, Emma! Generally, Japanese brands such as Platinum, Pilot, and Sailor have much finer nibs than the European brands. Which is why your Leonardo pens in EF write so much broader than your Japanese pens. I tend to stay away from European brands for this reason despite the beautiful pens, simply because I don't want the extra hassle of sending them to a nibmaster and have them ground down to a Japanese EF, haha. Can't wait to see what else you'll add to your collection for 2024 ✨

I love looking at your collection- I have about 5 of the same pens you have. I’m waiting on my Visconti Homo Sapien Bronze age to ship/ as well as my Kaweco X Hello kitty to ship as well. 😊.

Esterbrook do a needlepoint nib in their custom grinds which might suit you better and the nib units just screw out to change.

Too many pens? Nonsense! (OTOH, my family tell me, "You really should go out more often.") Rest assured that your preferences in pens will change over the years, and you may find many of the better Chinese pens (around $50 to $80) suit you perfectly. Once again, cheers (?? can that be a Melbourne word?) from the state of gloom.

If you really want to love that angel skin you might want to get the nib ground at a pen show.

Where did you buy the pilot cappucino whisky? You said it just arrived this week but everywhere i have looked they were sadly sold out😢
