The Duration of Dragon Install is about 420 frames, about 7 seconds. Goes up to 504 frames (about 8.4 seconds) when you're less than 30% health. Otherwise, not really
If you want help with slayer bdc's, what i found to be able to make it slightly more consistent is to hit the actual attacking button of the special you want to come out immediately BEFORE the jump that comes after the special movement. This allows you to utilize buffer so your special move can slightly easier hit that 3 frame jumpsquat window that makes bdcs possible. Its still hard as nails, just slightly more possible.
Volcanic Viper is done purely for damage and a hard knockdown. Bandit revolver is used for corner carry mostly. Personally, I would say use Bandit revolver most of the time to get to the corner as you can get his gun flame mix-ups that way and that is most of his mix in general. As well you can RC the bandit revolver to extend combos more consistently than VV

I know I'm 9 months late but how do you dash out of gunflame in time to follow up? Sol always misses at the last frame or the combo isnt true for me, thanks if you see this!
@@greengus9925 Ah, gotcha. So this combo is difficult to do, I'll admit. Essentially, the closer you are to the opponent the harder it is to get the air follow up. If it's on counterhit, you have basically all day. You could try doing a faster air normal to compensate, but it's mostly about the distance between you and the opponent on regular hit.

I'm a mid level Sol player already. I've never heard anyone's reasoning to use 6P > 6HS instead of VV after Break?. I assume it's for better oki but it's never been said in any guide or video I've personally seen. Plus I like ending my combos with VV lol
It's because 6HS is cancelled by Gun Feint, which sets up Gun Flame YRC. That situation is extremely hard for your opponent to deal with. Plus, it adds much needed mix to Sol's kind of eh mix. Also, on some characters, you can VV after the 6HS in the corner for extra damage, but you get different Oki
Great video, but I have one suggestion. If ya wanna use background music for ur video, I think it would be a good idea to turn the in-game BG off while recording and just put whatever song in the video while editing, cuz it's just a bit weird whenever u cut off to explain the next move and how the in game music also just cuts off. Just a nitpick, other then that, I love this 🙃

Bought it and it wouldn’t open on steam, would open the window and keep crashing. Tried a ton of fixes online but nothing worked, if anyone had similar issues lmk was rlly tryna learn xrd.
