Thank you for choosing to learn more about my channel!
I am a former Walt Disney World cast member and opening manager for Shanghai Disneyland. I share stories and insights from my 13 years world at Disney Parks. From Jungle Cruise Skipper to Riverboat Captain, trainer to show observationist. You'll enjoy anecdotes about working at the park, backstage trivia as well as insight as to how theme parks operate. So that's how I became a theme park expert, again expert might not be the exact right word, more expert-ish. Anyway, I've got to go. Look out for the clickbait! Kidding. I'm a kidder. Buh-bye now.

Another one of my all time favorite Mickey Mouse cartoons is A Gentleman's Gentleman because in that one, Pluto is a little polite to Mickey. But my mother's favorite Mickey Mouse cartoon is Mickey's Trailer.
I remember this famous Disney character. My favorite Mickey Mouse cartoons are Alpine Climbers, Thru the Mirror, Magician Mickey, Mickey's Ametures, Lonesome Ghosts, Mr. Mouse takes a Trip , Symphony Hour and Pluto's Party. I love both Brave Little Tailor and The Pointer because they were nominated. My favorite Mickey Mouse movies are Mickey's Christmas Carol, Mickey and the Beanstalk from Fun and Fancy Free and The Prince and the Pauper. Another thing I love about Mickey is Mousercise because he's with Donald, Goofy and Minnie. Another one of my favorite Mickey Mouse cartoons is The Little Whirlwind.
Disney is burning money left and right for stupid super hero movies nobody wants to see anymore, while they sit on this absolut treasure trove of a story and song without touching it. Truly astonishing.
There's clips from Thru The Mirror, Fun and Fancy Free, Clock Cleaners, On Ice, Mickey's Circus, and Magician Mickey on this song. This also includes Mickey's Birthday Party.
I remember this Disney character and he along with Minnie are 95 years old this year. I use this cartoon in honor of Mickey and Minnie's birthday. But I love this song and I think it's pretty.
WHERE THE HECK IS THIS IP! Hurry up Disney! lol All these remakes and yall are sitting on a friggen gold mind! HURRY UP AND MAKE A MOVIE out of THIS RIDE! song had me in tears even though poor alan is getting up there in years and his voice is gettin a lil....ya know what it doesnt matter the spirit and message of that song is beautiful and brilliant and ALOT more people need to hear it especially rt now! Life is hard and the message of truth, love & compassion, Stayin strong and moving along through the world with conviction will get you thru is a wonderful message everyone should hear and SEE! why i gotsta go to Tokyo to hear it !? lol HUGS!
Sadly, the original IP days of WDI and the studio are further and further behind us in the rear-view mirror. I agree with you though. The most memorable attractions for me were all the original creations, Journey Into Imagination, WoM, Horizons, Mystic Manor, and of course this version of Sinbad.
I got close to a low-water flame out once... also I did indeed once lose the rim lights on the boat. Also burnt my forearm on the engine once. Working the Riverboat was my favorite job ever, such peace and seclusion on the back stretch. It didn't make sense for me to stay but I really wish it had.
You are absolutely right about the seclusion and peace, especially on the back end of the river. It was also my favorite role at Disney. Almost everyone I talk to who worked the boat all agree if we could really make a living from it, we'd just stay at the boat the rest of our lives. BTW, I am a huge fan of your work. Thanks for stopping by.
This channel makes me feel like listening to my radio station, WDCB 90. 9FM, with the Sunday afternoon program, "The Sounds of Brazil (These Are)", but with a Walt Disney twist. It's filled with a lot of Smooth Jazz and Bossa Nova hits, of the past (mainly Brazil), and really makes me feel like I'm sitting in a hotel lounge or room, having a drink or a meal, while looking out at beach or the city, somewhere. Scott Adams is your host, and you can listen to him between 2pm-4pm, CST- definitely give the show a listen! Without that program, or listening to lots of Smooth Jazz or Bossa Nova hits, I would'nt have found a much more simpler and smoother piece of my life, so with that, and this channel, I thank you!
Lyrics ↓ Lift your sails to the heavens and fly on the breeze! Steer straight towards the horizon and seek brand new seas! Life's awaiting you out there, and if you sail true, You may find a priceless treasure out there too! Tides may turn you and toss you and storms may arise! Harm may stand in the path where your destiny lies! Just reach out for a friend when you're lost and astray Let the compass of your heart show you the way! As the winds of your fortune propel you along Always steer to the right, or you'll drift to the wrong Help all those who need helping, no matter their size For the compass of your heart leads to your prize! Life is the greatest adventure! There is no map, there's no chart But if you seek life's great treasure, follow the compass of your heart! More than gems... more than gold... one good deed's worth more than wealth untold... (singing with the Giant who sings along with Sindbad after rescuing him) Life is the greatest adventure! There is no map, there's no chart! But if you seek life's great treasure, follow the compass of your heart! (singing with the Sultan of India who repeats Sindbad's lines) More than silks... more than spice... kindness is a gift beyond all price... Come the end of your journey at last you will know That great treasure you hunted, you found long ago! It's not diamonds or rubies, or silver or jade No, the treasure is the lifelong friend's you've made! Life is the greatest adventure! There is no map, there's no chart! But if you seek life's great treasure, follow the compass of your heart! When you arrive home safe and sound, look at the friendships you have found... Richer by far than at the start, follow the compass of your heart!
The song was also featured on this Disney Channel program called "Happy Birthday, Mickey", which aired in 1983, only a few short months after the Disney Channel's launch.
But my all time favorite thing about Mickey is seeing him along with Pluto, Donald, Goofy and Minnie. The other thing I love about Mickey is he's neat on Mousercise. But still I don't want Goofy to give up for I want him to keep trying.
Disney Land and Walt Disney World should both have the Main Street Electrical Parade like the old days. The electrical parade is what makes both parks look beautiful and great at night time.
I cried watching this 🤣🤣🤣 I live in Tokyo and visit Disney Sea often. The song in Sinbad is so beautiful and iconic that I'm not surprised to see that it was written by Menken.

Nice song but I love the famous song and that's the mickey mouse club march about himself because after all, he's the star of many cartoons including Mickey's Rival, Mr. Mouse takes a trip, Symphony Hour, The pointer and Mickeys birthday party.
