I read an old blog I wrote in 2019 about the recent move by Disneyland management to add merchandise to Disneyland's Main Street Cinema. Although not earth-shattering, I argue that it is time to stop looking at The Walt Disney Company as the company Walt built. I figure it is relevant given the recent moves by TWDC towards the parks and their guests; charging more by providing less, for less quality.
🤷♂️About Timekeeper102: I am a former Walt Disney World cast member and opening manager for Shanghai Disneyland. I share stories and insights from my 13 years world at Disney Parks. From Jungle Cruise Skipper to Riverboat Captain, trainer to show observationist. You'll enjoy anecdotes about working at the park, backstage trivia as well as insight as to how theme parks operate. So that's how I became a theme park expert, again expert might not be the exact right word, more expert-ish. Anyway, I've got to go. Look out for the clickbait! Kidding. I'm a kidder. Buh-bye now.
