I think the wolfords are definitely for the wearer. The fatal seamless are a gorgeous pair of hose and are a matt finish for some reason and crappy you got the wrong shade for that kind of money - wish they had a touch of shine like the "satin touch" from wolford. Leggs are a great bang for buck hose - us guys wouldnt even know the difference
I slept for solid year on a couch with my lower legs (knee down) on a rolling chair so the dog could fit at the end of the couch. Rolling helps so you can move it when you roll over. A Rolling ottoman would work too I suppose. Mine was also adjustable height. Level with the couch helps I think. Being able to rest my head into the back of the couch helped too.
Get a piece of cove or crown molding to go around the top of the ship lap. That would bring in the Victorian style you’re looking for imo. The rounded edge should be able to go over you metal. Just a suggestion. 😉

I was watching and thinking the same pretty much as you were. You have to make decisions on the fly as you go to do any build. Its that kind of build your dealing with the uniqueness of your van. Also think that the ply under would of been the better way to go, but live, and learn. Might be a little shake, and vibration noises in that left wall but it will be fine. Thought you would figure it out wasn't doubting you never be in a hurry give your time to always process as you go along and stay positive. Baby steps one step at a time.
