I'm Luke, otherwise known as "Luke C In a HGV" and I'm a UK Truck vlogger
I'm a 3rd generation truck driver, My father and his father before him were also truckers. I've been driving trucks since early 2016 but been around them my whole life.
I love technology, I love to have and play with the latest gadgets and I love motor sports and enjoy driving for fun. So I combined the driving and technology together to create this channel and decided to make video content.
I create content on RU-vid to help create awareness around the job, Show potential newcomers what it is like to drive trucks and show them the benefits of being a driver. I Show the Good, The bad and the ugly. Not everyday is a good day but the majority of the time its an amazing job and i absolutely love it!
If you want to see what doing this job is like then consider subscribing to this channel. Thank you for reading. Drive safe!
16 K was what they were originally offering 15 K is what I wanted 14,560 is what I got. For the sake of £440 I wasn’t going to argue. I had enough at this point and wanted it gone so that there was room for my new car coming this weekend 😉
This is a regular accurance, surprised you wasn't expecting it. Same as driver's entering of slip roads. Lad that trained me was always drumming it into me.
amazing how many don't know there supposed to use the shoulder to get up to speed first,i had a driver almost stop on the M9 trying to let me out fully loaded from the shoulder, wasn't indicating or anything as i'd literally just set off lol, blasted the horn at her to get her footdown but she insisted on crawling along at my trailers backside flashing me! Also,1 second too long for a short is a tragedy lol
Thumbnail is exactly what was in the video. It’s a screenshot of me putting in an address into my satnav. And the title is correct he did ask if I was moving so he didn’t get a ticket. What you don’t like is that you assumed it would be negative, didn’t you? I never said it was negative. What I said is accurate and true.
Every day it happens on the road. People merging onto the motorway is my favourite they think that they are the priority when entering where they are not and should adjust their speed to the traffic that's already on the motorway and join in when safe to do so. What about car/van drivers cutting in just before a junction even had it today in rain like they need to realise our braking distance is much longer especially fully loaded 🤦♂️
They need reeducation about momentum and trucks not being able to slow down like a car can. They probably think putting the indicator on puts a safety zone around their little car.
Surely they can’t be thinking YOU made the fault??? If they checked their mirrors and blindspots they would have seen a huge hgv coming and not go? That’s absolutely insane. Why were they even in the hard shoulder to begin with? Didn’t look like a breakdown. They should have gained speed in the hard shoulder up to the speed limit to join back. It’s common sense!
Unfortunately as a truck driver it will always be our fault, we are there and in their way, I only drive HGV’s for about 6 months a year these days by time the 6 months is up I’m sick to death of it 😢
The shocking fact to me is that most drivers who made mistake on the road they allways blame you, they never accept did something wrong, they will never say sorry.
WTF? What Weeti Bix box did she get her license from? Some people shouldn't be allowed to drive on the roads, if that's how they drive!! Thank goodness Luke, you had your wits about you, and could see what she was going to do!!
Typical standard of most drivers these days. Yet, you hadn't avoided the car you would be the one breathalysed, vehicle checked over, digicard checked for infringements and all over social media and the news to blame for the accident! Stay safe and alert Luke!
This or when the get to the end of the slip road at 40 and expect you to give way or stop The standard of car driving is terrible in the uk. Just give hgv a bit of room
Unbelievable, those are the stupid idiots that cause pile-up's on the motorway & then disappear into the distance' oblivious to the carnage & death they left behind. So glad that your driving skills possibly saved your life & others,
This is normal very few people know or want to know that they can build up there speed on the hard shoulder and then pull out I had a jeep and horse trailer do exactly this to me once on the motorway luckily the outside lane was clear
