Did you have to cut the input shaft 1/4 inch? Seen on driftmotion but not 100%sure if I need to with this ar5 would be a perfect time for me to find out if it’s needed before I slap the bellhousing on
fire build. my first car was a yellow is300. sadly it was an auto but still a great car. my dream build was to 1j swap and manual swap it, glad to see someone doin it
@@builtalliance2501 thank you so much, for the is300 you would recommend stock drive shaft with Trans to Driveshaft Adapter? Does the U Joint prevent vibrations? I see there’s a adapter from U joint to CV ….
Xcessive sells a single driveshaft that bolts directly to the solstice transmission (6bolt flange) as far as vibration goes it’s not bad at all I run stretch tires on my Sc and feel the road honestly no vibrating from the transmission/driveshaft
Help!?from the UK I got a 02 lexus is300 2jz ge European I'm getting confused with blocks and heads and vvti parts good or bad. Somethings I understand I got a lot to do to achieve a turbo build. Can anyone help me out with what I need to change, keep or modify to maybe either turn 2jzge into a 2jzgte if that is a thing or 2jz ge turbo build Thanks in advance
Be on the lookout for my upcoming vid I’m doing a full rundown on a new is300 it’s a vvti head with no vvti block I’ll specify why and how it’s being put together along with the engine management and fuel system setup for a is300
Great video as always. IS300 gonna be fire with LinkECU. Excited for the future videos. It’s fire that you bring your daughter to help out too and hopefully when she get older she gets a 2JZ too. 🥹
