I find this interesting… I have this gun.. and the variant with the island barrel, and the Sand Viper and the pit Viper All EMG pistols and I have had zero issues with any of them… sorry to hear of your bad luck…I also have a 2011 combat master that I modded the crap out of and it’s even better!! Maybe turn yours into a Modded project…
Hi there, Army Armament does love to confuse people, I recently experienced a problem with an AA purchase from defcon Airsoft. They advertised the Staccato c2 comp soc for £119.99 with reinforced parts, hand stipple grip, c&c magwell, etc.. but when I opened the box, it was the older basic model worth £45 less. With the sand viper, the different codes represent different spec. My product code was for the low profile sro mount and included the optic. Other codes are, for example, the universal high mount, or T8 internals, etc..
@MiddleAgeGameruk thx for the reply and some clarification. It came with steel hop up ,cnc rvs npas and guarder moded mags. Still unsure if I'm going with a laser or red dot ( this one is for the collection not the field )
Hi there, to remove the stock, just push down the adjustment button and pull the side of the button that pivots up. Pull that button with as you slide the stock off. If you're having trouble, when you push the button in the lip of the button near the buffer, the tub will pivot up, with your free hand grab the lip and pull up and hold it up while sliding off the stock.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk is working good, just really need the powerful‘s pulls, the stocks is already turn off now, im very grateful for your show, thank you :)
Hi there, the G36c v2 gbbr was released at £189.99 for the first batch. The second started to vary from retailer to retailer from £199.99 up to £289.99. Vfc will be doing another limited run very soon, but that will be the last.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk That‘s interesting. I think I remember seeing them and I thinking that they were so cheap that they had to be absolute garbage but apparently they are not. If you know, could you please tell me why the next run will be the last? Like why don’t Airsoft manufacturers just keep making a successful model „for ever“ and keep improving it over time? It surely would sell? The manufacturers of real firearms that sell well also don’t just stop making them. A VFC MP7 V3 is also long overdue. Could have a reinforced back plate and stock retaining pieces as well as a steel insert in the bolt carrier that stops it from wearing down. These are obvious flaws, why don’t they fix them? I really don’t get it… Additionally they could add the functionality to lock the bolt to the back by pushing the bolt release lever upwards like on the real steel version. (Not needing an empty mag to do so)
@@_HigherSelf_ Sadly there is no straight answer, like you i would love to see them continue to manufacture the G36C and other variants for a long time to come. From an educated guess its down to shire volume of work they have going on right now. officially we have the Gen3 URGI, 416A5, MK18, M4A1, Knights SR16, and all there different variants, add the pistols, SMG's, PDW's and even add all the contract work they do and there shell company work , there AEG line the list goes on. they really do have to choose wisely. I would love a Gen3 MP7 and to be honest, that would be a much likelier bet to place.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk You have a lot more knowledge about them than I do. Would you say a V3 MP7 is so likely, that it’s worth waiting for? I just ordered a V2😅
Just wanted to say “thank you!” For the reviews on this - thanks to your reviews I have just had my first game with the VFC SR-16e3Mod2 V3 and it’s blown me away with how much of a riot it is to shoot, whilst retaining usability and accuracy. I’ve replaced the inner barrel with a precision steel version and the bucking with an X-Range 70, which has improved longer range accuracy and precision, but honestly, it’s awesome out of the box. I’m hopping 0.36g BB’s without issue and might turn up the NPAS for a little DMR test
Haha, the dreaded Ugg boot, it's funny. The cool thing is it did a lot for the rifle community, and for real, when I see any stock, I can see different boots like the acr Wellington, or the 5ku mcx skeleton leg stock etc.. Once you see them, it's hard not to unsee.
Hi there, due to youtube new policy, I can't give you direct links, but a good place to start is defcon airsoft or daves custome airsoft if you're in the uk. If you want to import, then wgcshop. Hope that helps.
Hi there, the 416 has had no problems on full auto. As for the buffer tubes, the cyma is slightly larger on the inside, so in theory, it's possible. As soon as I get time, I will do a test.
Great video, thank you. There are not enough detailed comparsions out there. I am wondering though about cyma. Not to transplant t8 to tm, but to transplant tm to t8. I really like the DD markings and everything about the pdw, but not the system 😂
Hi there, I completely understand. For sure, I have not ripped mine to pieces to find out, so I can't say 100% yes. The hop is T8 only due to the QD system, so I would say the fire control group and buffer tube should be.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk I see. Guess I've been out of the loop then for a while. Great vid. Maybe one day we'll see the same comparison for AK's. Wouldn't mind seeing a GMAK12 and the likes.
Andy is like the Airsoft Vader to me. Nooooo, can’t buy another M4 GBBR. Must resist. Thank Yoda the GM URGI is sold out at eHobby/WGC. Lots of great info and really appreciate the personal insights. The time to film and edit the video had to have been…
For hints at what's to come on this channel, you should check the channels Instagram 😉 instagram.com/therealmiddleagedgamer?igsh=MWk2dmR2dTFpYXdsMg== I'm going to try and post a photo whenever I get something new, but be patient with me.
In my opinion, the Noveske is by far the best looking of the three. If you run TM MWS mags, it runs better, and they are cheaper to buy than the DE mags. But having said that, I think the Guns modified is probably the best overall. It's just a shame for me that, in my opinion, it's really quite ugly.
@@MiddleAgeGamerukplanning to buy the DE N4 as my first gbb. But im torn between that and the CGS pdw. Which one should I go for? Looking for overall reliability and bang for your buck.
I have a V3 VFC 416 w/ mags and I can’t decide if it’s worth investing in another VFC rifle since I already have the mags or if I should sell it and get theGM 416 or another MWS. This channel has made me want to get an MWS platform so bad. What are your thoughts? Thanks :)
Hi there, firstly you're fine, you have a working vfc Gen3 416 so right now there is no need. The Guns Modify is amazing, but until your existing gbbr fails, there is no need right now. Hope that helps.
Thanks a lot! It helps combat some of the FOMO. If I were planning to buy another replica as a backup for milsim games do you think it’s better staying on the VFC platform or should I branch out and get the MWS? Thanks@@MiddleAgeGameruk
Really like the GM 416 - however having 2 TM MWS, the DE Noveske, and the CGS DDM4 I can’t fork out for another MWS based gbbr 😩! But I really want to! 😂
Hi there, action airsoft is good. They ship using ems speed ship, which is parcel force here in the UK. Once you have put an order in, they will send you a link within 5 working days to pay via PayPal. When your parcel gets here, there are the customs fees of 20% pluss £36 paperwork and handling. Customes can take anything between a few days to a few months, so you need to be patient and just keep tracking it. Just remember to give action airsoft your UKARA number at purchase.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk thanks for the info still a noob in the airsoft world but gbbr definitely looks the way forward for me . I'm using AEG at the mo, but the gbbr realism is the way I want to go thanks again.
Hi there, no problem, just remember to always give your UKARA and be patient 😊. Gbbrs are definitely my preferred way, aegs are cool. The arp9 was great, and the TM mp5a5 ngrs is still my favourite aeg.
No problem, one more thing, expect a possible fps drop with the double eagle mags. Next week is my comparison video for the clone mws systems, and I test each other's mags across the 416a5 mws, noveske n4 mws, and ddm4 pdw cgs.
Nice, very stylish receiver and rail! Do these mags fit the Maruyama APC9? I did the internal mod, had to be done with a dremmel whilst still inside the gun, the ledge that the mag needs to fit around isn't on a removable or replaceable part but part of the trigger box housing and metal. Got it to work on standard gas 24 rnd pistol mags but all my 50 rnd mags are CO2 so the hammer/striker is offset for the narrower knocker valves. Since you reviewed the Maruyama I thought you might recognise if they have that distinct 'Y' gap above the knocker/exhaust valve. Cheers!
Hi there, the mags they give are VFC spec and the marksman 9 is advertised to work with Marksman, VFC and Maruyama. As for my Maruyama APC9 I let her go the other day to a new home, missed it so much I have the new Maruyama SCW9 SD2 on pre-order with an end of July shipping date. Hope that helps.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk Yes thank you! I look forward to seeing you review the SCW9 SD2! The mags for it look really nice and only £28 from WGC would be nice if they fit the APC9 too! Can't see a lot of difference otherwise, longer rail maybe?
hi there, no there is no Npas. with the VFC precision barrel and TDC hop the VFC Npas would actually effect the lamina flow of air and widen the group size. I am currently experimenting with shorter barrels to bring the FPS down, with TDC hop the group size is staying tight at 3" at 15m with .25 bbs, this is with the barrel length of 5" from the 8" inner barrel included. Hope that helps.
I think a better guessing game is how many VFC shell companies are there to get around copyright infringements: APFG, Maruyama, Marksman, and …? 😅. Since your GM/TM/DE vs CGS vs VFC comparison is evidently delayed, how about you just tell us which one to buy or your personal ranking of the top 3? C’mon, man, may have to take advantage of this sale you mentioned. 😊
The Marui clone comparison video is out next week. I have a VFC vs Marui already, if you want realism the VFC if you want reliability, and skirmish ability, and more company's making parts than you can count then the Marui MWS system is for you. the problem is which MWS system?. sorry to be vague but tune in next week for my answer. Hope that helps.
Love your comparison vids. Just looking to see if you have had any new insights since then given all the additional acquisitions. Not all MWS or V3 perform the same so your observations on which models have the best implementations of which system would be really interesting.
Very true, not all are created equal, i find that, for the most part, companies seem to make a step forward with each model they release. Tokyo Marui is the only company I've seen so far that does not chainge much, or experiment, the last bullpup they did was the OG AEG the Famas. "Mws Famas, anyone? Or Scar?
I had one Marksman IX and I must say I love it but the no spare parts and the rocket valve was a big turn off so much that I refunded and sometimes I think I shouldn’t 😅 Great video as always
Thank you, parts wise its just VFC gen3 for the fire control group, and the buffer, but there is a 1" spacer in the buffer tube. bucking and barrel are standard Marui/VFC spec. The most anoying part is the bolt stop linkage, you need to make sure its thread locked tight or it wont lock back. Hope that helps.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk Oh okay, take your time, I bought one of the new June 2024 batch MK 17s from WGC and wanted to know want was changed/updated before I got it. It’ll probably get here when your review comes out.
Have wanted a competition style PCC for a long time and glad I waited this long before getting one as the options before were not ideal, super efficient, hard kicking before modding, ended up getting a Revanchist handguard for it (which replicates the Brekke Custom's super gamery USPSA competition handguard / barrel / brake combo.) *also btw hate to be that guy but the N in CNC is "Numerical", not "and" like C&C, took me a while to understand the description as C&C is also unhelpfully an airsoft brand :D
Hi there, grease is perfect for inside the reciver where the bolt travels, but due to the chemical makeup, it can destroy o-rings. Standard silicone oil keeps the o-ring from drying out and allows it to form a good seal to cycle your gbbr or pistol for a long time. Hope that helps.
