Why are the lyrics muted ? Are you afraid of hurting some liberals feelings ? I met a jin soaked bar room queen in Memphis. She tried to take me upstairs for a ride. WTF
Nice Christmas song cover. I have a Stratocaster that looks like that. It’s a 2011 MIM three tone Tobacco Burst Fender Stratocaster, 60’s reissue/style. 👍🎸🤘🏼
@@TheOriginalGuitarMan You're welcome. You get better tones than a lot of guitar youtubers. They go for this awful chuggy, over distorted noise that I just can't stand. I also think it's bad for new players to spend their time on that. To master the instrument you need to know how it sounds in its purist form. Play acoustic and clean and use musical distortion when you use it. I'm glad I grew up with the influences I did, from a time in which you really had to learn your chords, scales and how it all goes together and relates to music in a general way. I'm no virtuoso but a passible rock and jazz player.
@@angusorvid8840 thanks for that compliment also. I do agree with you about one should play clean and master your instrument before adding any colorful overdrive or distortion.
@@TheOriginalGuitarMan Nice! That is such a great setup. I have that on 2 of my guitars (PAF / Cruiser). Went with a 250k pot (takes a little of the highs down a bit) for the volume and it's the best setup I have to date especially for versatility in song styles. Nice video! Appreciate the love for the PAF Pro. One of the best bridge pickups out there.
Sounds tasty ,man ..!! Would you mind sharing the backing track..? I’m trying to prep for an open mike night.., and I’m so rusty,, I’m flakin’…!😵💫🤣 Thanks..!!!!!!
@PianoGirlMelissa No,no,no. Don’t put me in the category with Satriani. I don’t belong there, I am not even the smallest fraction of a guitar player as he is.
Man, that sounds amazing, I love it! That bright, clear, biting Tele tone is working nicely with the high gain sound. I recently acquired a deluxe Nashville Tele and a Marshall JVM 410 amp and I wasn't planning on using them together but I will now 😀
The Real Nafis Thanks. You’re right, I only used the bridge pickup on that one. I will have to post another video using the Cruiser pickups in the future. I can tell you that I was shocked by the “strat-like” tone from those cruisers. I have another Fender with DiMarzio Area pups installed and I’ve got to tell you I think I like the Cruisers better. The one thing that I did find out however is you can take the same pickups that sound great on one guitar and install them in another guitar and they will sound totally different.
@@TheOriginalGuitarMan Oh wow. Yeah I keep hearing people mention that about the Cruisers. I'm definitely considering getting them because I'd love to get rid of that 60 cycle hum while retaining that strat-like sonic quality. I appreciate the info!
