There's no shame in having to look something up for help. The point of the game is to have fun and enjoy the experience. There are countless things in life to enjoy and nobody lives long enough to experience them all. As such, we must all choose what enjoyable experiences to invest our time in and what to pass up. Just because your grandfather found worth in creating a map of the game that doesn't mean you must. If creating a map of the game contributes to the fun and experience then great! And if looking things up is what contributes to your enjoyment of the game then that's great, too! All that means is that you can spend that extra time experiencing something else enjoyable.
The stone tower temple was hell for me in the 3ds when I was 12 years old, the n64 version was a little easier because you get the giants mask instead of boss fight
I know this video is years old, but these stray fairy videos have helped me SO SO SO much. All the other videos just show them getting the fairy, and not actually showing how to get to them. Your videos show exactly how to get them and thats perfect!
@@acacmlopez367 You have 2 options: beat more dungeons or start a new game. There are 5 Overworld Heart Containers and 8 Heart Containers obtained from dungeons. For every one of the Overworld Hearts that you choose the Medicine for you'll need to get an additional dungeon Heart Container. Depending on how many times you've chosen the Medicine then it might better to just start a new game and not make that mistake again.
I appreciate this tutorial, it helps out greatly. However how in the world do you do that airspin? I have played this multiple times and never saw that.
I remember this level. I only played the PAL version of it on Sony PlayStation 1 when I was a kid. Unfortunately the carrot monster, his mad minions and hostages are absent from the same version. By the way it has a different background. We know it's full of venus fly trap-like plant monsters, boxing spiders, werewolves, greedy rabbits, bats, flying security cameras and flies.
I played this when it came out in the 1980s. After years on the Atari and Commodore 64, I can't express how mind blowing it was to experience this exact moment. To go underground, see the room with 3 doors, bricks, mystery, great music, THIS moment was one of the biggest "OMG" moments I had in my life. Playing SMB1 and other early NES games was fun, but THIS, THIS moment was truly special.
There are 2 possibilities: it's an unintended glitch or the developers deliberately programmed it to work. I don't see any reason why this would be a glitch so that means the developers chose to do this. The question then becomes "why did the developers program this into the game?" My answer to this is, I'm not really sure. I do have a couple ideas, though. The first possibility is that it was put in for the testers of the game in the event they ran out of Bombchus they could still continue to test the level. I sort of doubt this is the reason because the testers job would also be to test the Bombchu solution so it doesn't make obvious sense why the developers would allow them to circumvent that. The second possibility is that it was put in place for us, the players. The problem with this answer is that there is absolutely nothing in the game (that I'm aware of) that suggests that this is a thing. The only way someone might have known about it back when this game came out was if they called the Nintendo Power hotline and they suggested it (although I would guess they would actually just say to restart the 3-day cycle). So then what is the point of putting this into the game for the players if there is no way the player would know that this works? In the end, I don't really know why this is a thing. It sure can come in handy, though.
its cruel that this guide is using a hookshot. if people are looking up a guide then its most likely because its their first playthrough. i am on my first playthrough of this convoluted game ever and i do not have a hookshot.
I do have written explanations in the description of where each of the fairies are and I describe how to get that particular fairy without the Hookshot for those who don't have it yet. Also, back when I made this video, in-video annotations were still I thing which allowed me to put a note on screen at that part in the video about what to do without the Hookshot. Additionally, I figured anyone playing through this temple for the first time could use my video showing how to beat the temple. In that video I show how to get that fairy using the invisible steps. For this video I wanted to show the easier way to get it for those who came back to this temple to get the fairies after getting farther in the game. Perhaps I should have shown the Hookshotless way in this video, but I don't consider it important enough to remake this video just to change that. I do wish more people looked in the descriptions of my videos when they need further help, but the comment by @samanthaanderson8056 seems to be good enough to help those that get hung up on that fairy.
Somethings wrong. I swear I found all the skulltulas in Kokiri forest and the Deku tree, but for some reason the map is telling me it’s not clear. Anyone know why that could be?
@@agentkracko I'm not positive as it's been a very long time since I've played the 3DS version, but I think all of the Skulltulas are the same between the 2 versions. I'm not sure which ones you're missing. Unfortunately you'll just have to go through them all in those areas until you find the ones you're missing.
@@EmptyGarbageCan Nvm! I found it! I can’t believe you specifically have to be young or adult Link for some Gold Skulltulas to appear in areas that either of them can visit
I was using the official Nintendo guide to do this tonight and it still took me forever to find that one in the ceiling! I entered the temple with 60 hours remaining and got out with about 10, and that was with time slowed down 😅 but then again the first time I played through Majora's Mask it took me about ten years to beat it lol
I fucking love this game. I've 100%'d it so many times, done every Easter egg and fun glitch in existence... I'm currently playing through Tears of the Kingdom, and then I'm finally tackling Eldin Ring (I make it a point to play the game later than it's initial release - it makes the world feel more authentic, to me) but as soon as I'm done, I'm beating Majora's Mask for the 7th time.
Oh...... The Deku scrub is just..... Right there...... Cool! I knew there was one in Goron village, but I didn't want to randomly look around to search for him and decided instead to find a guide. I uh....... I feel a little dumb.
I've been replaying the game with the new PC recomp and I've never actually done the fairies before. The one at 2:38 is bullshit! Thanks for this video. I was never gonna find that one.
This was the temple where my disc was corrupted. Could not finish this and it pissed me off to no end. I scored the legend of Zelda promotional game set for the GameCube and this was the only game I could not finish. Ugh
You must be playing on an emulator. That fairy is still there, but it's invisible when playing on an emulator. You'll need to fire randomly into the area where the fairy is supposed to be until you pop the bubble it's in.
