Honestly I saw this scene but without the effects placed on Orson Wells voice, and while I don’t dislike this version, I do prefer how Orson just naturally sounds.
Prior to this scene, there was very little seen in the entire Transformers series in which the Autobots appeared to look outmatched and/or ill-prepared for a fight. You had guys like Brawn, Ironhide, Cliffjumper, and dozens of others who lived and breathed kicking some serious ass. Then once the movie started, and the Deceptions broke into the ship, you said yourself “The Autobots got this, they’ll be fine.” Then this massacre happens in the span of less than a minute, leaving all of us utterly shocked, going “What the hell just happened?”
This was a psychatrist's dream. Traumatized kids and parents footing the bill. I always liked how Ratchet healed everyone,but this gave me a newfound respect for him,when he was dual wielding. As for Ironhide,he refused to lay there and die. He tried to stop Megatron,only to get a fusion cannon to his head point blank.
Jodl: “My Führer, what are you planning?” Hitler: “I’m planning to remove the subtitles. For too long people have been laughing at my plans and making me look like a dumbass. By removing the subtitles, people will finally take my plans seriously.” Jodl: “How will remove the subtitles?” Hitler: “Steiner will upload this plan to RU-vid with no subtitles attached.” Krebs: “Without subtitles no one will understand me when I talk about my fish. I’m already greatly affected by this plan.” Hitler: “Fine. This is proof my plan will be a success.” Jodl: “My Führer, I object to this plan.” Hitler: Damn it, Jodl! This plan is flawless!” Jodl: “People are still going to make fun of your plans anyway!” Hitler: “The only thing they’ll make fun of is your stupid bald head, so shut up! Without subtitles, people will never laugh at my plans again!”
20 against 4 is hardly a fair fight but what Braun was thinking just running unarmed is beyond me......Rachet and Ironhide deserved to get blasted for firing 600 shots and missing an army of Decepticons! I find it funny how one shot kills Braun and Prowl, but later in movie Prime shoots Soundwave, Thundercracker, etc, at Autobot City, and they all walk away, Soundwave without a scratch!
Cuando esa movie salio en el 86 yo tenia 8 an̈os Transformers era y siempre a sido mi favorito..cuando por fin la vi tenia 10 an̈os ...😵 fue impactante ver esa escena donde morian varios autobots que estuvieron desde el primer season y nunca pensé que alguno moriria...Pero esa escena desde que comienza Megatron entrando a la nave de los Autobots es una de las mejores escenas de la pelicula...hasta cuando no esperas que le van a explotar la cabeza a Ironhide...brutal la animacion ...ese sonido de la transformacion de Megatron..la musica del soundtrack...el grito donde dice Die Aubotos 🤘🏼!!!i Strarscream masacrando los buenos...y ahí es que sabes que los Decepticons no fueron a jugar como solia pasar en las series....la e visto 100tos de veces desde ese dia hasta el dia de hoy...✌🏽

Somewhere around 2023, I remember my dad showing me the 1984 Transformers cartoon. I was already an adult, but I was open to checking it out. After awhile, I wanted to see what the movie was like. And when I saw this scene, I immediately felt like I was watching a Mortal Kombat movie. Characters getting killed, dumb story decisions, and much more similarities.
I have to say I was shocked as a child to see all this death but at the same time I was excited by all the cool cartoon violence/anime for the first time ever... Did that make me a sick child?
Having been born in 76, I can remember being on the playground in the 5th grade when the movie released. A kid us group of kids were speaking to mentioned watching the movie and told us Prime died. Not only that, the movie took place in the year 2005...........I cant tell you how futuristic that year seemed in 1986. All movies that took place in 2000+ always had floating cars, space travel was normal, robots everywhere, etc.
