This is scarier than the original. The silence, the sheer emptiness of space, nothing to be heard but Unicron's deep, malevolent, emotionless voice...the voice of doom itself.
It’s sad. Without the music, and of course, the know-how of the voice behind this legendary menace, you can kind of hear how weak Orson Welles really sounds. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration when they say he was doing this role on his deathbed.

"AND NOTHING!...you belong to me, now..." "Perhaps I misjudged you. Proceed; your way to oblivion." "excellent~" these lines in this scene along are golden.
This is good, but somehow the music in this scene really marked by childhood. This meeting, 32 years later, is still much better than any product made afterwards.
Why does he hate The Matrix so much? I mean don't get me wrong Matrix Revolutions was horrible, but I really enjoyed the first one Edit: In hindsight after seeing Matrix 4 maybe Matrix Revolutions wasn't so bad
Thanks for posting. As much of a fan as I am of the Transformers Movie Soundtrack Album (and I most definitely am), I must admit that it's very interesting to listen to this scene with only dialog and sound effects after nearly 30 years. (Sheesh! has it been THAT long?!) When you think on it, this IS how Unicron and Megatron/Galvatron would have heard these events themselves.
If megatron literally forged a deal with the devil would that make galvatron megatrons insane mentally damaged reincarnation or otherwise instead a heavily? augmented brainwashed clone of megatron?
Not bad but you can hear tiny glimpses of the music in the background. But it does fit the cold and emptiness that is space. Without the music though, it did clear up some of the words that Unicron was saying. For the longest time, I thought it was Cyclonus "the weigher" but now it sounds like what it was intended w/o the music "the warrior".
@@TheAlphaFury The 'un-crazamatic' line was deliberate, it was to show Rumble's ignorance of the word 'uncharismatic' - his characterisation is modelled after a low education street punk who just wants to fight everyone.
Volume up. Base to max. Almost blew the fekkin windows out! Love Orson Wells and this voice over is perfect for the sheer power and size of this ancient being.
This could not be a better example of Orson Welles dedication as an artist. When you really listen to his performance is Unicron you can genuinely hear him putting emotion Into the words, you can also hear what the producers of the film were talking about when they said that his weight has become such a problem that he was wheezing so much while saying his lines; so here is Welles, working on a franchise that according to everyone whom it came up with he was not a fan of, his own body causing a hindrance to his performance due to weighing over 400 pounds, which had him practically at death's door (quite a more literal statement than you would think, given that he died less than a week after recording his lines) and you can still hear him. Giving. It. His. All!!!
The performance gives Unicron an air of ancient dread around him. A dread has been around for longer than recorded time(until S3’s Call of the Primitives gave us a less than impressive origin which I headcanon it to be the origin of how Unicron got a body in the first place) and destroyed many civilisations in his eternal trek across the stars.
It certainly does sound creepy but do keep in mind that all this is happening in space where there is no sound which obviously begs another question on how r they even talking /communicate ?
We're talking about giant robots who transform into guns, space shuttles, jets, tape recorders, cars and trucks. We're also talking about a planet who transforms into a robot. Yet you want to discuss the scientific accuracy of how fictional giant robots communicate in space?
Probably using electrical waves that travels through space is how they are able to communicate and they process said electrical waves as voiced that they interpret and hear. We the audience only hear what they are saying from their perspective
