Thank you for the great video! But how do you get audio to your studio monitors in this setup? (To monitor the changes you make in your DAW) Do you use an AVIO Dante adapter? We also use the dLive S7000 for our live sound and nuendo DAW for our stream sound
I've made an updated series of videos on mixing in a daw. The second video in that series goes over all the setup details: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dKVooCnI-_U.html
If you’re mixing live for a broadcast mute the speakers and use some cellphones to hear what people are actually hearing. Use headphones. Use speakers last. If you use headphones use some ie500 in ear headphones and some cheaper Akg headphones to balance it better
I haven't used FL Studio, but you should be able to use just about any DAW as long as it can be configured to pass incoming "monitored" audio through to the output and apply effects to those. Which I'm pretty sure most will do now. Take a look at my video in this series that shows how the whole system is setup. You can find the links in the description of this video. In that video I'll show you all the connections.
I'm brand new to ProPresenter, and your presentation made things so intuitive and easy to get up and running in no time. You are the epitome of teachers of this app I've seen so far. Keep up the excellent work. It's greatly appreciated.
Very practical... it's just that I can't get my Mac to display the image... it detects the UVC but the screen is black... any idea how to make it work?
@@timothydavidhill2117 You don't have to use an ATEM. But you still need a way to get video in to ProP. You can use NDI as I demonstrate in this video, or you can use a video interface and bring video in that way. (eg. Use the ATEM as your video interface.)
This is nice and really helpful. Does it only accept videos streamed via their site, can I upload an already recorded video? Can I also add multiple streaming destinations like 2 RU-vid channels or Facebook pages?
You can upload an already recorded video for processing by their tools, but I don't believe you can upload a video and stream it. I haven't done it, but it looks like you can add multiple connections to the same platform, eg add a RU-vid destination, then still add another RU-vid destination.
Which of the USB sends options is appropriate? Analog, Input, PreEQ, Post EQ, Pre Fader, Post Fader, Analog + Mute, Input + Mute, PreEQ + Mute, Post EQ + Mute, Pre Fader + Mute
Hiii sir different presses and multiple cameras, own website in watching. This is a possible or un possible? That see possible. What is that process plz explain sir
Fantastic video. This is literally what I do when I work big budget events and they want me to mix the livestream or what the a2 does when I'm doing foh
I explained the Music Only button WRONG! It's actually an effect that tries to remove vocals from music, so you could sing along with it, I guess. Check out the ADCaster C2 here: amzn.to/3VdScwr
Great review. I've been working with the GoStream Deck for a week. So far my biggest issue is audio related. I want to match quality of the live stream worship . Apollo to Cubase to OBS. I replaced OBS w/GoStream , audio quality is not the same. Need plugins in GoStream.
My file no longer works with the current version of Companion. But you should be able to easily make your own version using the steps shown here. I also have on my website a link to the button graphics if you want to use those. It's linked in the description above.
Usually you set this to something. There is a camera utility available from your camera manufacturer that will find your camera on the network and let you set it's IP address.
For what it's worth, NewTek's NDI 6, which was just recently released comes with a VST plugin that directly supports NDI (up to 16 channels), which VASTLY simplifies this setup.
Check out my newest series on mixing in a daw with Dante: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dKVooCnI-_U.htmlsi=xPel9VDC9UuD1ky5 Short answer is you can keep the latency below a frame or two.
Is there a setting in RU-vid Live for musicians? The "normal" settings seem to have an automatic volume control and changes the volume up and down with music (not so much with spoken word).
My experience has been (and I stand to be corrected as things change every day) that RU-vid doesn't change the volume of a livestream while live. BUT, after the stream, yes, they do normalize the audio to -14LUFS.
Awesome! That at least tells me where to look. I streamed this video and at 0:16 the music dipped and I can't figure out why it dipped. ru-vid.comD4QWEnyro3I?feature=share
This is an absolutely awesome series, in some ways better than some of the dedicated Reaper tutorials I've watched, but with so much additional, legitimately useful information added. And call me crazy, but I prefer the free plugin mix. There's something a little too "rice crispy-ish" in the Waves mix for my liking. Thanks for this great series, and all the tips.
Truly, God bless you for taking the time to make these videos. Even with the appropriate budget to duplicate your suggestions, it will still be a challenge for many to achieve the end product. It will take much time and technical knowledge. Thank you!
Hey all! I recently got the deck and after successfully connecting my sony fx3 to the osee deck via an HDMI cable the first time around, now it doesn't register on the switcher. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if so, what's the solve was?
Hello sir, Vey great information. What kind of PC are you using. Can you please post the model and specs? We need a PC that works flawlessly. Many thanks.
A lot depends on what your needs are for that PC. Lately I've been using the HP zWorkstations. What CPU/Memory/GPU kind of depends on what you are going to do with it.
Hello. Looking for a little help. Our Mac which ran Logic for our live stream audio died. Looking for a way to have our PC for our video to handle both for now. It is more than capable to do this. Our setup is. Dante to Logic and then it sends to our stream pc. What would be a good Logic alternative for windows to get our audio through Dante on the pc for now till Mac is fixed/replaced. Appreciate any input !!!
I'd suggest Reaper. Take a look at the series of videos linked in the description of this video. If you're running Reaper and your live streaming software (OBS?) on the same computer, it's pretty simple to get audio from one to the other. Use ReaRoute in Reaper to send the mix out, and then install the ASIO extension for OBS, and you can bring the audio in to OBS via ReaRoute.
