To be honest, I don't really know what will happen if you try to do multiple encodings on your graphics card. Probably the same as your CPU when it gets overloaded it will start dropping frames. Look for glitchy output and you'll know you've overloaded the encoder.

I use a dedicated video encoder to stream my live streams. It can handle 3 destinations at the same time. My PC is more like a video mixer for sound and video. I play on a Xbox one X.
This is a great video and helped immensely as my church is preparing to have service at a new location. I wanted to mention there is a Mac version available now as well!

It's very valuable to many of us who can't afford commercial solutions (update for the less technically inclined - obs-multi-rtmp has an executable installer now, but using the zipped version will still give you more knowledge and understading of how this works).

Unfortunately the RTMP protocol is pretty dependent on a solid connection. There are re-connect settings in OBS, so at least it will re-establish your stream, but RTMP is not going to seamlessly handle a minute of outage.
Even before the plugin there was a simple way of doing it , i would open obs twice , obs is a powerful software i can open up to 10 instances , Buh for my case i open 3 one streams to facebook and another streams to RU-vid and the third instance records my output..... simple!
If your PC/Internet Connect can't handle this, Mobcrush is a free service that allows for multicasting to Twitch, Facebook, RU-vid and one Customer RTMP destination.
Same with Norton AV. The download and plugin are currently untested by AVs and flags up a warning that it displays characteristics of Malware, which might be due to how it integrates with OBS. I submitted the downloaded Zip-file to Norton for testing a couple of days ago and should get the test results very soon.

my problem is when I stream in both platforms, FB live stream will frame do network frame drop and youtube will continue while OBS is in red color. My upload speed is 167.38 mbps and I use 4000 mbps in fb and 4000 mbps in yt. Can you help me ?

There are still somethings, like embedding in your own website, that those service provide that is beneficial. Also if you need to go to really large number of destinations this method doesn't scale very well. But, yes! If you just need to go to a couple destinations this is a great solution!
I live stream a devotionaly every morning. The live steam seems to be working fine live streaming to RU-vid and Facebook. I am having two issues. One, I can't see my video while livestreaming on RU-vid enventhought it is going thru. Two, at the conclusion of my live it is taking froever to process the live stream. there is laging when I play back the video. Any suggestions? I have a hardwire connections, and 100mbs upload and down load I am running RU-vid at 5k and Facebook at 2.5K bit rate.

Can we add a persistent Facebook and RU-vid key or one that will stream on a scheduled event. For instance if I set up a Facebook event - I’d want the live stream to play on that. But then would I need to change the rmtp each time I have a new event?
I think the folder drag method shown in the video doesn’t work. Instead of dragging each folder into the folder of the same name, drag each folder into the c:/program files/obs-studio root folder. He says it this way, but the video clip shows them going into the sub folders. Hope this helps!
Add each stream's bit rate together, then use that total to calculate how much bandwidth you will need. Generally, I suggest you have double the upload speed as your stream's bitrate as a good place to start.
Hi, thank you so much for this info, really helps! But how can I save my new targets? I noticed that every time I set up the new targets, it works fine. But after I close OBS and reopen it, the targets are gone, I have to input the stream key and server all over again, and I have found nowhere to save it. Do you how I can save it?
Isn't FB going to stream a 1080p/60 at 720/30 from FB's end regardless? Why not setup the stream IN OBS Studio to YT settings (say, 1080p/60, 6000kbps, use NVENC) and instead (using same NVENC) add the FB stream info into this plugin and let FB do it's thing? Wouldn't that work a little better or am I missing something?
Yes, you could do that to save some processing power. In general, I try and avoid letting FB "do something" to the video, usually making your video look the best it can isn't their first priority.
Not sure I follow your question. Are you wanting the best setting for the camera, or for OBS? When you say "shooting both resolutions" I'm not sure what you mean.

Recent i7 processor, probably 32GB of ram, and an NVIDIA graphics card that supports NVENC. Quadro P600, GTX 1050, etc. Putting one encoding on the CPU, and another on the graphics card is a key component to getting this to run smoothly.
My OBS on my desk top computer will not change the dock to multicable. do you have any suggestions to remedy this. O have 26.0.2 update to OBS.. It worked on my Laptop from church...
If it's not showing up, it's most likely because you haven't put the plugin in the correct folder. When OBS is running, open the Task Manager and right-click on OBS and select "Open File Location." Follow that path back up to obs-studio to find your plugin folder.

I have installed the plugin and I have entered the stream key and stream URL. But when I want to try the OBS live stream >> Settings >> Stream >> Service WHAT SHOULD I CHOOSE? If it's empty you can't and OBS will question it. What is the solution/ what is the value of the SERVICE?
Great vid and great plug-in. Is there a way to save the stream setup settings to FB, Twitch,etc? I have to re-enter the setup info each time I close OBS.
Hi do you have any recommendation for recording from Black magic studio HD with almost similar setup that you have explained in your previous videos? currently we are recording directly to computer using wirecast or obs, also have AtomosNinja, it's recording file size is very higher than usual, Thank You for your time.
File size is based on the bit rate you're recording is set to. We record to OBS on one computer, and I've tweaked the bit rate to balance file size and quality of the video. That being said, we also record to a deck as a back up in case something were to happen to the recording in OBS.
i stream with 4g internet and i play with my Wi-Fi so my obs is connected to 4g , when i stream on twitch it will stream with 4g but when i use multiple RTMP the second platform will stream on Wi-Fi so i want to make the two platforms to conncet with 4G any solutions ?
I am using a Raspberry pi to duplicate my stream thus my PC is not full loaded. My raspberry pi 3b+ can easly handle it smootly! many tuto on the internet on how to do that ;-)

Drag the two folders (DATA & OBS-PLUGINS) into the C:/PROGRAM FILES/OBS-STUDIO/ root folder, not into the sub folders of the same name. The video clip shows them being placed in the sub folders, but that doesn’t work and the plugin won’t be available. Hope this helps.
