We love adventures. Join us- backpacking, bike touring, mostly eating though.
Hi! We are Masha and Adam. We sold our belongings, quit our jobs and started travelling full time in December 2022. We have learned that we are terrible at editing videos while on the road and are now catching up on footage while living in Vietnam and Australia.
Everything is filmed on an iPhone with no special gadgets or skills.
It's funny to hear you describe the last sentence, .... "These things are dangerous, so cheap and so delicious." I know exactly what you mean, I usually have 5 of them between meals sometimes. There is another snack that I like, Che 3 Mau. Hope you have a chance to try that. Bun Cha is one of my favorite dishes. Thanks for listing the address,es will try them sometimes when I am near by those places. Your VNese is very good. Enjoy your trip!
I am Vietnamese 🇻🇳 What are you nationality? Are you love Vietnam ? I hope you have an idea how much you enjoy traveling in Vietnam the most in the world
You don't need to take too many gears with you when bike touring in Vietnam, especially camping gear. The hotels there only cost $5 to $10 a night. motel or guesthouse are call Nhà Nghỉ, and they are everywhere.
Guess you have been told do not go off used roads or trails. Still hundreds of thousands of landmines in any area not farmed or walked. Such as off the sides of dirt roads or in the forests.

Those crispy cup-shaped delights are Khanom Krok, a popular Thai sweet snack. They are made from rice flour, sugar, and coconut milk and cooked in a special mold. The result is a delicious treat with a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy center. Khanom Krok are often eaten in pairs and can be enjoyed with sweet or savory toppings. Anyway have a safe trip and have fun in Vietnam. 😘
Thanks for the great info. When you say "eaten in pairs" do you mean you're meant to eat 2 of them in one go?? Just kidding. It was pretty easy to eat 2 of them in one go because they taste so god damn good!
Your candy banana actually called Kluai Khai (Musa acuminata 'Lady Finger'). It's a type of banana that is native to Southeast Asia. It is a hybrid between two wild banana species. Kluai Khai is a popular fruit in Thailand and is often used in cooking and desserts. The fruit is small to medium in size, with a slender, curved shape. The skin is bright yellow when ripe and the flesh is white and creamy. Kluai Khai has a sweet, slightly tart flavor and a soft, smooth texture. Kluai Khai is a good source of potassium, vitamin C, and dietary fiber. It is also a good source of energy, providing about 100 calories per serving. 😘
Im not sure why there was so much garbage there. The temple is at the top of a lot of stairs so a simple task of taking out the garbage isn't so simple anymore.
To be honest as a Malaysian, Penang is overrated as a food heaven in Malaysia as Penang is heavily predominantly Malaysian Chinese same like Ipoh in Perak (the 2nd largest city after Kuala Lumpur). Kuala Lumpur is more vibrant and mixed of all sorts of local cuisines (Malay, Chinese, Indian and Indian Muslims (mamak) and international cuisines as it is more metropolitan; Middle Eastern, Korean, Japanese, Italian, etc. For authentic Malay; East Coast of Malaysia has more varieties; Kelantan and Terengganu. in Kuala Lumpur, Alor Street (Jalan Alor) mostly Malaysian Chinese food and other South East Asian especially Thai food. For Indian food, at Brickfield of Little India and Malay food mostly at Kampung Baru. For laid back islands definitely east coast islands are more relaxing; Perhentian, Redang, Kapas, Tioman. In the west coast of Malay Peninsular; Langkawi and Pangkor not too bad and less touristy compared to Bali or islands in Thailand eg. Phuket.
