Our favourite local food spots in Hanoi. No tourist or expat areas-just delicious authentic Vietnamese food.
We lived in Cong Vi ward so most of these locations are in Bah Dinh district and easy enough to get around via scooter or Grab taxi. Some places are within walking distance with tones of sights and local life to take in, especially Doi Can street.
As a disclaimer: we are not Vietnamese people. We don't know how to cook these dishes or everything about them. We just know how to eat them and love eating them
