Welcome to my channel. I am a college student with a passion for outdoor survival, bushcraft, everyday carry gear, and knife collecting. In my videos I will share my knowledge that I have gained from my hobbies as well as reviews of the amazing gear, knives, and equipment that the market has to offer. While I definitely know more about knives than other topics, my love and knowledge for outdoor survival is always growing.
If you are a company that would like me to test and review their product(s) please contact me using the email address listed below
getting my dad a zippo for the holidays, very helpful! right before this i watched a tutorial that said "fill it until it drips out the top!" and "if you want to just skip lifting the tap at the bottom and pour it right on there," didn't exactly feel right lol
Really nice gadgets but it's a survival kit and EDC tinkerer pouch smashed together for no reason. You rarely ever need a water filter while working on the computer case bolts but it's even more rare that you need a ratchet in the nature. Maybe it's nice as a hobby kit for a traveling techie hiker person. You even have the knife that could be stripped of it's blade so that the airport security would be happy to know that you won't be carving your name on a seat! You just have to find the excuse for bringing the set of arrowheads and a fucking pickaxe head. I personally can't think of any.
Hi from Croatia, I have the same knife Benchmade mini reflex 2550,and i would buy the Coil Spring in US, can you please tell me, what exact size is the Coil Spring for the mini reflex??
Tin foil or something to cook in will be useful in my area. Everything else is good and useful. Make more videos like this, please. Maybe different bags with other useful stuff. I like your ideas.
I decided to try posting some videos on the product pages on Amazon and thought I would share this video on my RU-vid channel also as people may find it helpful knowing what I use to protect my knives.
I am a bit confused about the Opinel setup: spoon looks useful, but the fork? If you have to cut something into pieces because it is too big to put it into your mouth, you have to use a not only a fork but a knife, too. How does this work if the blade is folded in the handle?
Agreed. I find I use either a spoon or a fork but not both at same time. I find I use a knife and a fork at same time. So I went with a Titanium non-folding spoon/fork combo and a Opinel No.9 with elastic band and cloth. You could probably combine this Opinel kit with a regular non-slicing knife to make a whole kit as the blade for cutting food prep is an entirely different blade to what you'd use to eat with.
I think Microtechs are just made that way. I just bought a Kershaw Livewire and it's a dream compared to my Microtech. I tried a Benchmade OTF too and while it felt way better too. Actually, my takeaway from using them all is that the Kershaw is better than both.
To much you don't need spear aroe and what ever else it was at most you only need 2 fire starters and only the spear head like 5 pounds it needs to be light
Eno products don’t last! And they don’t backup their product when they fail, AND THEY WILL FAIL. I found that out. Very disappointed. Go cottage company. Made in USA
Did you enjoy this video? If so here is a larger survival kit I have built: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aeSNoITo06E.html Here is also a link to my most recent update on this survival kit, although it doesn't have many changes. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DlbOglRNIsc.html
I have a setup in my trunk as well. But mine consists of two folding chairs, some playing cards and a checkers game from Dollar Tree. I am only setup for a broken fan belt and a short wait for a tow truck.
Keeping chairs in your trunk is definitely a good idea. I need to be more prepared for breakdowns but I guess with this kit it will allow me to wait alittle longer for the tow truck haha.
I thought it would be fun to create other survival kits other than my personal survival kit in the Vanquest EDCM huge. Let me know what you think of this one. If you would like to see everything that in my smaller kit I have a video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DlbOglRNIsc.html
