I understand that sometimes there is no choice, but to euthanize an animal. I rescued a dog and then years later had to bring them back because he had temperament issues from being abused prior to us. The shelter wanted to euthanize. What irritates me is the shelter never once told us this was a very high high high possibility as he was abused. Nope they keep all that secret. This dishonesty really killed our family. We would have never adopted if they were more open with us.. they were not open with us because all they care is try get rid of the animal and give it home so they can pat themselves on the back. They didn't explain any of the heartworm stuff to me other than he was treated and OK. No he was not OK. My research when I got home told me not to let him jump around. My research told me he may have to be treated again. This was never explained to me either. They need to quit withholding important information !!! I had to lie to my little boy for years trying to tell him his dog went to a trainer to teach him the difference between safe and unsafe. The dog didn't know any different and was abused prior to us so of course he's gonna protect the ones that happy home. What they don't tell you is once they find a happy home they're going to get very territorial. Now that my kid 16 I finally told him that I've been carrying this lie around. I had to give my family which was chunky butt too the Humane Society to euthanize when he was perfectly healthy, and all he needed was proper training . I didn't have the money for proper training and didn't even know that this was going to be something I needed for him. I'm just freaking angry about the whole situation and now I feel guilty because I had to spill the beans to my kid. It's like I can't lie to him this whole life about it. This is sickening!!!
My cat is not feeding his babies but he change his child place everywhere in home he didn't rejected them but why cat is not feeding them 2 child is dead plzz guide
I’m sorry that you have to endure these loses when you’ve done everything you can possibly do to prevent it. It must be very hard. But it’s clear that you do everything you can for these kittens. ♥️

I really wish I could share a video with you. We have 6 cats. My daughter has brought home 5 of them in severe situations and they needed true rescue. I told her NO more. We cant save them all but she talked me into 1 more because it does have something going on with its legs. We have been taping them, doing therapy but I didn't know there was more than one thing it could be. Now im praying im right. & we got it at 6-8 weeks. I'm praying that.It's not too late to correct it. The person that had the kitten was not caring for the kitten correctly. It was covered and fleas. The mother rejected it and wouldn't feed it. She was half alive when we got her. She is doing so much better and is very happy but I don't know if we caught it too late because we got her too late. Also I have not read anything about it being hereditary and I know the father has one leg that is like this.
Opinion on goats kmr by petag? Kitten is currently on the regular kmr and has horrible constipation even when adding water ive been recommended goats kmr by a few people
Thanks for making a video about this. I have a litter of 5 that are 3 weeks and a smaller less than 2 week old being sucked on and his urine was a thick yellow curd looking color and then I noticed one of the bigger ones latched on to him! I got the culprit and separated him.
Hi! I have recently begun to a foster a CH kitty who would have otherwise been euthanized by a client at work. I work at a vet clinic, however, kitties with CH are not a common occurrence here. Do you have any tips on feeding? He is around 4-5 weeks old. Any advice?
hi this is a very late comment but im a severe worry wart like i worry so much its terrible, i was worrying because both of my cats were in my room and the oldest one got mad at her and bit her but i dont think blood was drawn or anything but i was just worried that my new kitten has FIV but seeing what you said i dont think thats the case (i hope she doesnt have fiv) ill get my kitten tested in a few months anyway thanks for making this video and calming me down ♥️

When they say goats milk is the universal milk for mammals I think they mean it is the only milk that can SAFELY be consumed by all mammals not that it’s the best option for them. Obviously a species appropriate milk is the ideal choice. I don’t think this is a controversial take at all and if it is it shouldn’t be. Now I will say this, goats milk is a great probiotic for ADULT cats and dogs and even humans. The molecules are so small that the lactose intolerant can safely consume it. I started my dog with IBS on goats milk and it’s helped her so much it’s crazy! My cat still refuses to drink it but I still offer it to him 5:12 see that’s crazy because it’s so hard to find raw goats milk for me! I literally have to drive a half hour once a month to and back so that’s a total of an hour on the road just to get to a specialty pet store that sells it. I doubt pasteurized goats milk would work the same for kittens and only raw would really work. When I found a group of kittens years ago I was EASILY able to find kitten formula at the grocery store in the pet section. They don’t have goats milk at my grocery store not even the pasteurized kind. I know as I’ve looked and begged them to start carrying it
I have two kittens about a week old or less, one is latching on great but the other one just screams and won’t take the bottle no matter what nipple I’m using 😢 I’m so worried about them
Help! How do I get momma to take them back? (10 weeks old now) I took in 2 orphaned one week old kittens. I bottle fed them and weaned them. I found their wild Momma and their 4 brothers and sisters! I leave water and food for them so they stay near my house. But the kittens were blind when they were abandoned and do not understand it's their mother. I am wildly allergic and only took them in because I simply couldn't let them die. I am so happy to see them with momma. I put them outside with their family all day and just let them in when they cry for food/water breaks (they don't eat the outdoor kitties food). And I also let them inside at sunset. I want to reunite them as a family unit so they can learn to survive in the wild. This isn't a forever home, I just couldn't leave them to dry up in the sun. Do I go the tough love path and stop letting them inside and only feed them with the family? I live in a rice farming village in Thailand for context.
Okay so I have a neonatal kitten and this kitten is like 3 days old I'm assuming some homeless person had this little kid and asked me if I wanted to adopt the baby kitten it fit in a eyeglass case That's how little this little guy is. I have pet lack which is kitten milk replacement I'm going to use it tonight I don't have a bed warmer so I'm going to warm up some dish towels in warm water and put them in a bag and cover the bag with a towel for a little kitten
I have a question a stray mother cat has kittens but she seems healthy but only watches her kittens but doesnt take care of them but one or more kittens do u know maybe why this is happening?
Tube feeding is a life saver, can't believe they do not allow this. Yes, it comes with risks but so does feeding a kitten from syringe who doesn't want to eat.
