Reviewing Kitten Lady's Books Part 1 // Adventures in Fosterland - Emmett and Jez 

Thank you so much for this beautiful review. It meant so much to me that you were able to relate to Emmett! You understood Emmett completely-my intention for his character was to help young people who are struggling with their identity being different than those closest to them, who may worry that they need to conform to a more privileged identity in order to have a good future. Emmett is scared because he doesn’t know if a good life (a “Foreverland”) even exists for pigs-will he ever have the happy future that kittens like Jez are promised?-but of course (spoiler!) he learns that when you authentically express who you are, you are able to find your community and have a wonderful life, befriending those who share your experiences and also those who may not, but who you love/who love and support you regardless of those differences. He is able to take all that he learned from his “kitten days” with him to the farm, but to shed his fears and be true to who he is. I hoped that this would resonate for people of all ages so your video really touched me, and I am grateful that you took the time to make it. Thank you! ❤
