I am Shinji Akita, a Japanese Karate Instructor, living in Germany. While travelling to many different countries, I am experiencing their beauty and meeting so many nice people... At the same time I appreciate the culture and tradition of my home country Japan.
In my channel, you can find videos on Karate, Japan and travelling. As I also want to share my passion for cooking, I have created another channel called "Akita´s Channel". Here is the link in case you want to drop by: ru-vid.com/show-UCzSv-Qobt4KCmUU7iSEI-eA
If you have any request, please leave a comment. Thank you!
Many thanks for your interest and for commenting 😊 I don’t know of any specific rule but think it also is a part of our Karate-Dō to train in a Dōgi that’s not smelly or stained.
i i'm interesting to buy one and i dont know what size buy when i have 170 cm, on website is 4.5-(165-170cm), 5-(170-175 cm) and i know the dogi can be smaller after wash, what ones is better?
Hi and thank you for your interest. I would recommend to check the measurement table on our website www.hirota-shop.com(download section). If you already have a Karate gi, you could compare Hirota‘s measurements with it. I hope it helps for you to determine your right size.
Is there a complete list of all available colors for the embroidery (ideally with a picture)? Second question, should non-Japanese people have their surname embroidered before their first name?
Thank you for your interest and comment. Regarding the name embroidery: I don’t think there is such rule. You can choose the order according to your personal preference. Regarding the color: Please let me know your e-mail address or write to info@hirota-shop.com for further information.
is this the Hirota Pinack? because i ordered the Hirota pinack Kumite ready made from Kuroobiya but seeing this i think i should've gotten the slim version since the high waste looks more comfortable and it looks like it fits much better. is that suit to big for you? or is that just how it fits?
@@AkitasDojoI appreciate the reply. But now I'm starting to wish I went with the slim fit since it looks like it fits you a lot better. And the high waste sounds nice. Maybe I can buy the slim fit in the future but from what I've heard I shouldn't be too disappointed even if the slim fit might have been a better choice.
You are very welcome. And I also think you shouldn´t be too disappointed as it is also nice to move in a dōgi that is a bit wider. For myself, I equally like both cuts, they just feel different.
@@colegeary502yo, a couple months ago I bought my hirota pinack kumite standard cut and I love it but I will admit it is a bit too baggy for my expectations. But it is still a great Gi as I’ve used it ever since I bought it
@@slashxxrryeah. It's too short on me. And they won't take it back sadly. Gave it to my sister. Im gonna get the slim cut instead and make sure I get the right size
Thanks for watching our video. Please check out the washing instructions in the download section on our website www.hirota-shop.com. There you can also find some unbinding information on the shrinkage.
