Just Curious, why did you not use the Dynon Transponder when you built your panel..I designing my panel know and see that a lot of individuals don't use the integrated Dynon transponder.
RIPTIDE - the tv show from the early 80s had the S-58T with a "Steven Tyler mouth" for nose art. We went from crazy variety shows of the 70s to dumb action shows in the 80s. I listen to the same genre of music when working and carry the same strategy with pessimism vs optimism. I'm just happy to know that someone experiences the same level of frustration at mechanical work and misplacing things. Another life trick I use, is to keep low goals for the day such as, "don't poop my pants" - I have successful days most of the time ;-). I have a certified aircraft, so I watch with envy that you're doing your annual yourself.
Young aviator here, man if I ever build a plane in the future. You sir will probably be the number 1 reason why! What an awesome experience, especially making your loved ones proud (or scaring the shit out of em haha).
For the record, Eskimos, or the Inuit, do not have 50 different words for snow. I realize that on a certain level it "makes sense" that they might, since the Inuit would invariably encounter lots of snow, in all of its different forms, & thus might develop a nomenclature for all of those subtle distinctions. That doesn't make it true, however. It's a myth, perpetuated by people who find the idea plausible enough to pass it along without investigating it further, & so the misinformation is perpetuated. Of course it goes without saying that such misinformation can & does get passed along in areas pertaining to aviation... but I digress. Thanks for the video. Looking forward to checking it out!
Im really interested in these types of reels. Im tired of my baitcasters. I know this video is older but would you still recommend this reel? Any issues or anyone major to be concerned about?
Yep! Also building a Factory Five Cobra. It was helpful to see so many completed cars. They weren’t all Factory Five, of course, but there were sure a lot of them!
We just spent our first night in our R Pod. Same model as yours. 2 of us and our pomchi Hank. All slept on the bed comfortably. The rain helped make our first day of camping more fun. Especially wet muddy dog lol.
It’s a shared build with my brother. It has a lot of similarity with building the RV-12 - I’ve had the itch to build and I like cars. I considered one long before I built the plane.
Sick this week- can't get out of the house. It was great to ride along on this trip to middle bass. I got a little relief from the "stir crazies" Thanks much! I have flown into Put N Bay a couple of times but never Middle Bass. I appreciate how you video not only the flight but also the venue.
Why don’t you just taxi to the non-movement line to call ground? Calling them in your hangar row where they 1) can’t see you and 2) have no jurisdiction just seems weird to me.
Just wanted to say thanks for showing the process of building a plane. Have always wanted to fly like every other little boy did when young. The kids are grown now and everyone is doing their own thing. These videos make me think maybe I can do that, only time will tell but would be a fun dream to chase.

Actually pretty nice!! I hope you enjoy it...I really prefer a cassette toilet! But it's just me and 3 dogs so it's more convenient..I would rather have more fresh water capacity than a hold for black water..
