7 years later just started playing this game (40 game hours) ago and love it. Did not know any of this was just pumping arrows at most enemies. lol subbed.
fpr the thunderjaw you can also use stickybombs or tearblast arrows on his face and screw up his guns and the take out his disk launchers and freeze it then use disc launcher
They force you into a room with 2 huge Daemonic Stalkers, and force you to override pathways to get across, in the cauldron, which made me give up. Game devs really suck these days.

I was struggling with the quest where you have to kill the humans and the 2 corrupters so much and I gave up. I haven’t touched the game in over a year and I finally got the motivation to try again and I didnt know about that heat core thing. Thank you so much!!

Me, brand new using the rope caster and trip caster, in pretty much every difficult combat. (I dont have the upgraded war bow so i cant utilize ice arrows that a lot of the big bois are susceptible to)
hello. in my opinion storm bird is the easiest of these big ones, because once you take it down, or lands itself, you can make it not fly up again. the way yo do it is simply hiting it with meelee attacks. you can slowly but surely kill the storm bird. this is the most efficient way i have found, because the other solutions are way too ammo draining i think. you can slowly but surely take it down with only meelee attacks
I just discovered that shooting those hanging things(like the ones in the bellowbacks) below the broadhead's neck does massive damage which does them in one shot.
i always try to outsmart games like this so i never play them the way theyre meant to be played.. even though im trying trying to.. im like.. i can get the next level bow why would i want the chill bow? you just showed freezing the machines and it looks awesome now i want to buy the low level chill weapon.. the problem is im playing on ultra hard and i have no shards! i literally just walked into a village and people were talking about how they have no shards while i was literally talking out loud to myself in my own bedroom about how i have no shards.. for hours.. ive been having no shards for hours.. just refilling my weapons.. no shards.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GFW-WfuX2Dk.html
i just started playing this game and i didnt like to fight the scrappers.. i would run away.. just lately i started using trip wires from my crya bow or whatever its called.. UPGRAAADE!
I am super late to the party when it comes to this game, as I just started it up off and on a few months ago. My two biggest issues in terms of machines were the flying ones and thunder jaws. I had no idea flyers can be taken down with the fire arrow, it makes them so much easier. Thunder jaws though I just need to get better lol.
Just bought Horizon Zero Dawn for PC. Seems that acquiring late game items like electric arrows make it easy. I haven't unlocked multiple arrows and my bows are still rare and this is probably what I should be working towards to make the game easy.
