Very helpful video. I've already had both injections and am looking at RFA in about 2 weeks but thanks for elaborating on those first two injections. I've received a summary of treatment and was a little puzzled why the drug used was different from one to the other but now I know!
Thank you for the video. PLEASE HELP ME! I've been dealing with sciatic pain for over four years now. It started basically around the time of the pandemic. Because I couldn't get proper treatment at the time, it kind of stayed with me and got worse. Now the recovery is very slow. I've tried everything except injection and surgery. The doctors say that it's a very mild case of disc slippage on my L5 and L4, and there is no way they're going to do surgery on me. I've tried acupuncture, physical therapy, medications, chiropractic lots of other things for YEARS, and everything works except only temporarily. The best thing that has worked for me has been progressive exercises. But the problem is the recovery phase is very slow. For example, I've been doing them non-stop for the past six months, and while I have seen improvements, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have these limitations for at least another six months or so. Limitations such as not being able to sit pain-free and not being able to sit for more than, let's say, 20 minutes at all. If I sit longer, then I'm gonna have to pay for it, and this is affecting my relationship. At this point I don't remember how being normal feels like any more. when the doctors see my MRI they treat me as if I'm normal and nothing is wrong with me and they don't take me seriously. one of the most even put me on antidepressant drugs saying that it might be mental but that didn't help either. Do you think if I take an injection now it would help?
Thank you. I've had left shoulder pain for 5 months. Left hand pain, tingling and numbness all down my left arm, palm and fingers for about 3-4 months, neck pain for the last month and now I alao have pain in my lower back. Shoulder ultrasound only showed calcific tendontis. Cervical MRI showed mild disc desiccation in all discs as well as early facet arthrosis at C6/7. Physio thinks its carpel tunnel syndrome but i think it's more than that and I'm in so much pain 😢
Thank you but actually I have had a long long-term severe problem with this in my thoracic spine from being an artist.. it is very tough because when you can't use your arms and hands without pain how do you get along? Lots of breaks, lots of things you can't do like everybody, periods of total disability not to mention the pain
No mention of B1 Benfotiamine?? You're missing a large epidemic. Read the research paper "Hiding in plain sight: Thiamine deficiency" by Dr Eric Longsdale. He has other research published, spent 60 years diving into that one area. He did many cases of mega dosing but included magnesium with it, since they're both required to work together
Thanks Doctor for advice of Gabapentin.Im feeling lazy, don't even want to wash few dishes, how I wish a pill of happiness and animosity.Im taking it for leg num bless and pain,I feel electricity,Gd.bless you and this channel ❤❤❤
You are giving patients with back pain a clear path to understanding the causes and treatments for it. I too was bluntly informed that I have degenerative disc DISEASE as though I was washed up in a hopeless downward spiral. The neurosurgeon gave me one option which was 3 or 4 segment lumbar spinal fusion. When I left his office, I wasn’t sure about what was causing my pain and when I read the radiologist MRI report, I was in shock. I spent weeks researching alternative treatments that I later learned were not the an option for me. The terminology in the MRI report was a foreign language and I spent hours and weeks studying it and making notes. During this time, I believed that the severity of my condition was about to seriously impair my quality of life. I’m a runner (for fitness not racing) and an amateur dressage horse rider and I’m 76 with a young person’s attitude. Your video confirms my research and my understanding of this complex medical subject. Thank you so much. You are the light at the end of the tunnel.
Excellent video, I learned quite a lot and it's going to save me possible surgery or even injections. I have had improvement with PT and will continue with that before even considering more invasive therapy. Liked and subscribed!!
I have done a lot of research and others say you need MSM. I would like for you to talk about MSN. The bad thing about the supplements everybody's trying to make a dollar you don't know really what's in there it's a money-making thing
This has been very informative I have pain in my wrist bone and a sharp pain ( not numbness or tingling) and between my little finger and the forth it’s so painful I cry out! And my wrist in Constance pain
TLDR; I have a neck pain that does not go away i am a 22 year old with bulging disk (C34 C45) ,calcification, early stage of scoliosis, military neck and finally osteophyte(which my doctor claims this is the main pain cause ) on my neck. I dont have any numbness in my hands but i got a lot of pain in side of right neck and whole shoulder area. I've been struggling from pain i've eased it with pain killers for 5 months until i actually got the diagnosies from an orthopedist and also for second opinion a physiotherapist after that 30 session of physical threapy and now i can say i am %80% pain free. The main reason why i got those problems were i've had an forward head posture and weightlifting with bad form due to my forward head posture. I've always take care of my back disks but never thought of possibility of my neck. Hopefully i can fully recover it within 2-4 years according to my doctor. I slightly injured my neck again while doing shrugs, the pattern that i've seen is this when i go to failure especially when training my back and or shoulders i tend to push my head away from my center of gravity. Also scapula pull up is game changer for me it help me to stay upright alot i am learning how to avoid not to injure my self again despite i am seeming to fail i hope tat i'll learn how to lift with out discomfort or worsening my current conditions. and here is the diagnosies. I used ai to translate it i don't know how well it is translated. LOINC Code 30667-0-Vertebra Cervical, MRI, without contrast CERVICAL SPINAL MRI EXAMINATION Technique: T1-T2 SE sagittal T2 FSE axial Comparison : Results : Cervical lordosis is normal. Osteophytic sharpenings compatible with degeneration were noted at the vertebral corpus corners. Vertebral corpus heights are normal. Bone marrow signal is homogenous. Disc heights and signal intensities are normal. At the C3-4, C4-5 levels, the posterior positions of the discs are broad-based bulging, causing narrowing of the ventral subarachnoid space. The intensity of the spinal cord in the examination area is homogenous. Paraspinal soft tissues are normal. Craniocervical junction is normal.
I realize that you have to say talk to your doctor, etc., however, I think you must realize that a very high percentage of allopathic doctors have zero idea about supplements, especially the less mainstream supplements. I’ve asked my doctor specific questions about supplements and he admits he knows very little about. I know more about supplements than he does.
Your comment about the lack of knowledge on supplements by allopathic doctor's is so very true. Most of them are clueless. Nutrition and supplementation is a subject which is not taught much, if at all, in medical schools.
I wish I could come and see you. Doctors do not explain all this. Very informative. My doctor last time said just smoke pot. I am in bad shape with my neck, and I need help. I wasn't, and now I am. Thanks
I have the tingling / burning on the outer side of thigh, but also numbness on the inner face of same thigh. Is this an additional issue or all wrapped up with same MP symptoms ?
I cannot bend my knee. I had a MRI and the doctor said my quad muscle is scredded. I have pain in my knee cap. I had missing bone filled in three years ago in my knee cap.
Thank you so much for all the information!! This is super helpful. More power to you and hope you can continue educating more people. I haven't been to a PT so this is really nice. My hands have been number for 2 weeks now. Hope it will end soon.
