If you have a high power microwave (mine is 1100 watts) try reducing the power to 50%. Cook as instructed and check to see if it’s done. You may need a bit more time. Add 15 seconds at a time until it’s finished to your personal preference. I hope that helps.
**When I received my popcorn cart, the storage box/base was already assembled and welded together. I just had to attach the “legs”, wheels, handle and tray. Hopefully the company includes instructions with the ones that are unassembled. I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to help with assembling the storage box/base. Thank you so much for watching this video!**
Oh I’m sorry I miss understood. My best advice is to start with a low time (you can always add time but you can’t take time away), depending on what your cooking you can also turn the food and check the food with a thermometer. Make sure food is cooked to 165°F. There are some great videos here on RU-vid. Just search for the food you’d like to cook on your Dash appliances. I hope this helps. Happy Cooking!
I received my order today, but I noticed that it didn't come with a recipe book. I'm uncertain about whether I can cook a homemade pizza using the product, and if so, for how long. Additionally, there doesn't seem to be any temperature control, so I'm not entirely sure if I will like it or not. However, I did like the video showcasing the product.
Thank you so much for watching! Unfortunately there is not a temperature control. I’m so sorry to hear you didn’t get a recipe book with your Double Up Skillet and Oven. I’ve dealt with Dash customer service before and they are very nice and helpful. I’m sure if you contact them they will be able to help you with that. If you’d like to get a jump start on making pizza, I looked at my recipe book and although I haven’t tried homemade pizza dough yet, I can give you some guidance on using homemade pizza dough from what I’ve read in the recipe book that came with mine. The book has 2 different ways to use the dough. Make your favorite pizza dough. 1) Roll it out into a 12” circle, lightly grease the Double up Skillet + Oven. Place the dough on the bottom cooking surface. Spread your sauce and topping on top. Close the cover and bake 8-12 minutes. (I check the bottom to see how it’s browning and add time if you need to) The instructions then say to unplug the unit and allow pizza to cool slightly. Then remove pizza and cut and serve. (This method may give you a more doughy crust) 2) Roll dough into a 12” circle and brush dough with oil and place dough oil side down on lower cooking surface. Close the cover and cook for 3-4 minutes until bottom is browned. Brush the dough with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and flip it over. Top with sauce and topping of your choice. Close the cover and cook for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. (If you don’t like a doughy crust this is the method I’d use) If you find it difficult to get the dough onto the cooking surface, what I’ve done before is while the unit is cold I take a piece of parchment paper and put it on the bottom surface and run my fingers around the perimeter making a mark where the sides are and then you can roll your dough out on the parchment paper and place the parchment paper with the dough rolled out on the parchment paper and place it right on the preheated bottom cooking surface. I hope that makes sense lol. I have a video showing how I do this with cherry cheese coffee cake ring. It’s in my Dash Double up Skillet playlist. I’ll see if I can link for you. I’m not real good at that lol ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2H2qn4RDRo4.htmlsi=ugOYBNViyFAA36WM These are methods from 2 different pizza recipes in my recipe book. Like I said I’ve never tried them. If you do try either or both please let me know how you make out.

It’s really nice that you can use it anywhere and don’t have to have an electrical outlet close. Really nice to use outdoors and camping! Thanks so much for watching! Have a great day!
Great question! The feet sit down inside to keep the popper from sliding off the cart. But It’s not latched or locked in so it could topple off if it would get knocked over. You can roll the cart with the popper sitting on the cart with caution and not on an uneven surface. I hope this was helpful! Thanks for watching!
I just cooked a pre-thawed Red Baron Classic Crust 4 Cheese pizza while watching this video. 8 minutes to a beautifully tanned crust. The cheese was all melted and bubbling and the crust was cooked through. You might want 9 minutes for a more dark brown crust. I am definitely enjoying my Dash Double Up griddle!
Thanks for the awesome comment and detailed instructions! So glad you’re enjoying your griddle. I love mine too! Thanks for watching my video. Have a Great Day!
The pizza cooked really well. The crust had a nice crunch to it and the cheese melted really nice. it’s personal taste as to how long to leave the pizza cook. The longer you cook it the crispier the crust will be and the cheese would brown more. Thanks for the great question and watching my video! Have a great day!
There is a max fill line on each cup. 1 tablespoon works well for me. If you use 3 tablespoons it’s may cook over and/or you may need to drain the excess water out of each cup. Thanks for watching!
I haven’t done pancakes on this yet but you could do 3-4 silver dollar pancakes or 1 large pancake! You would have to flip them after about 3 minutes or so., when the edges look a bit dry and the bubbles on top are formed flip them. Thanks for the great question and watching!
I like the Jiffy Blueberry Muffin mix for a quick snack. The dehydrated blueberries don’t give the muffins a lot of flavor. Muffins made with real blueberries and made from scratch are much better. Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for the great question! I think it would be okay. The lid might close. I believe those appetizers are fully cooked. I would turn and rotate them frequently and temperature check them to make sure they get to 165°F. Sounds like a great idea! If you try comment and let me know how it turned out! Thanks for watching!
Ah! This might be the one I am going to get! Sort of like that one that you had to stir manually but this one does it by itself and also changes direction on its own in case things are getting stuck. God job again on making this and other videos. I am now a subscriber! Mark
Thank you so much! I’m so glad my videos were helpful to you. Yes this popper was my favorite for many years! Thanks for the kind comments and welcome to my channel! Thank you so much for subscribing.
Thank you so much! We’ve moved to a bigger house since that video was uploaded and I have a bedroom converted into a Movie Theater Room now. We love it. It was so much fun setting it up. Thanks for watching! I’m so happy you got some ideas! Have a great day!
🇬🇧 I had a 5 litres electric casserole which served me for years, until my cousin messed up the nonstick surface by using metal, even after I asked him not to. I can only find the shallow replacement in UK. These DASH Mini Appliances are perfect for 1-2 people. I would buy this today, but Amazon don't have it. I'm going to have to go to Dash 🇺🇸 and see how much the postage will cost.
I’m so sorry you casserole pan got ruined. I pretty much got rid of all metal cooking utensils because my husband does not listen either lol. I’m not sure which stores you have access to in the UK but I’ve found Dash appliances at Tjmaxx and Home Goods also Walmart in store and online. Tjmaxx does have an online store also. Dash also has a larger version of the mini skillet. It is a 14” electric skillet. Try eBay also. I hope you can find a replacement! Thanks for watching!
@@adashofpixiedust Oh, I didn't think to look in TKMaxx, (is that the same as TJMaxx?) I'll do an online search. It's strange that I can't find any deep electric pans anywhere, but tons of extra large flat ones. I have a tiny kitchen with limited counter space
I’m not sure if those 2 stores are the same. It sounds like maybe they are. Indeed the mini appliances are perfect for small spaces! Plus you can store them together in a storage bin or tote. I keep most of my minis in the drawer of my bookcase. (The base is different depth drawers and the tops are shelves. Makes for easy access! I’ll cross my fingers you find what your looking for!
The 8” Express Griddle is great for those single serve frozen pizzas for a quick lunch or snack for 1 person or child. The minis are perfect for 1 or 2 people! Love all mine also! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for the kind comment! I like to share how I use the products and my thoughts about them hoping my input can help someone else. Thanks for watching!
The 4” makers are so nice for 1 or 2 people! This 8” is really versatile! You can make multiple silver dollar pancakes (really small ones) at one time! It’s great for eggs also!❤️Thanks for watching!!
@@adashofpixiedust Thanks. hopefully one pops out. No one on FB Market wants to ship lol. just my luck. There is one similar on Amazon but not deep enough to cook variety of foods like stews ect.
@@adashofpixiedust I think she was trying to inform you that if you buy the entire popper and cart, the cart is disassembled and you have to put it together yourself. I got one just a week ago and the entire thing is disassembled.
Oh okay. When I received my cart I just had to attach the “legs” and wheels to the red storage box/compartment. That was already welded together. Was your storage box/compartment disassembled? Thanks for watching!
@@adashofpixiedust Completely disassembled. No instructions at all. No way to connect the box, once assembled, to the cart. I've assembled everything else, but can't connect the box to the cart (legs and stand). I'm thinking they forgot to drill holes in mine.
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear this. I hope you can contact the seller and get it sorted out. *Side note: even though I purchased mine through Walmarts website, it came from The Great Northern Popcorn Company.
Great question! This has such a great nonstick surface nothing sticks to it. Let the griddle cool down and unplug it before you clean it. If you have food sticking, let your wet and soapy dish cloth lay on top of the area that has food sticking to it for a couple of minutes and it will wipe right off. I put hot soapy water in the sink and then use my Norwex dish cloth wet and wipe it out then rinse the cloth out to get the soap out of it and wipe the griddle out again to get the soap off. It cleans up really quick. Thanks for watching!
I like gadgets too. But when I used to plug good heat tops up in my room it cuts the power in the house. So when I get solar stuff I would use gadgets and fire to get away from only using grid power. I love this idea for ham. I buy the bacon pieces and ends which are chunks of ham instead of strips of expensive bacon. This seems really good to try. I also had a lady tell me mayo and string beans are really good. So now I'm thinking a string bean Potatoe ham salad with this. 👍🙏💖
I have 2 butane stoves I really like to use when our electric goes out. This is my go to recipe to use up left over ham! Bacon chunks should work well and give great flavor! Thanks for watching!
Yesss this is a God send blessing for sure to have. I had the other three before then found out they have many of them. I just thank God because this could easily feed a lot of people really quick. Peach cobbler that you put the flour mixture in first then you put the filling in and it will bake over the filling that will have just enough crust at the bottom and top. Also perfect size eggs for biscuits and sandwiches. So much
There are so many uses for the pie maker! Check out Ken Clicks channel. He has a lot of unique recipes for this pie maker! Great tip for eggs! Thanks for sharing and watching the video!
I’ve never tried making just eggs in this unit. You might be able to make 2 large eggs, 3 large eggs might be to much since eggs puff up while cooking. I wouldn’t use the lifter. Thanks for the question!
Have you made a homemade pizza from scratch in this? My daughter got me one for Christmas. A couple weeks ago we decided to buy dough, rolled it out and put it onto a pizza board and completed the pizza. The pizza maker said it had to be preheated, so we did that, but when we tried to slide our pizza off the board into the pizza maker, it stuck to the board. We couldn't get it off and literally ended up folding the crust to pick it up and get it into the pizza maker and we had to move everything back into place (pepperoni, black olives, cheese) and add more cheese to it as it looked a mess. Once done, it was perfect, but there must be a better way to do this. I can't find a single video showing how to make your own pizza in this without using one from the freezer.
I haven’t tried a from scratch pizza yet. If you dust your pizza peel with corn meal it should slide right off into the preheat unit. After you put the corn meal on your pizza peel and put your naked dough on top, gently shake the board so the dough slides around and then assemble the rest of the pizza. I’d work quickly though so the corn meal don’t have a chance to get buried into the dough and the dough then touches the board and sticks. Even if it would it still should slide off easier. You could also try assembling the pizza on a piece of parchment paper on the pizza peel too and slide the parchment with the assembled pizza on it right into the preheated unit. I use parchment paper to bake on in it. Keeps clean up easy. Sounds like it was a great pizza despite the hassle getting it into the unit! Thanks for the great question and comment! I’ll have to try this! I’ve been meaning to make another video of the dash Double Up Griddle. Thanks for watching and visiting my channel!
Thank you so much for watching! The Instant Omni Oven is an Instantpot brand. You can bake, broil, air fry, dehydrate, roast among other functions. It’s a countertop oven. I rarely use mine these days. Here’s a great video on the Instant Omni by Lana Under pressure, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-azNGKTpKaV0.html
So sorry for the late reply. I paid $14.99 for the large container I use I this video. I purchased the mix at the Golden Malted Website. There is a link to the website in the video description. Thanks for watching!😃
@@adashofpixiedust seriously, i got the box opened it up. And no instructions. It was a different model but similar enough. Your instructions were clear and concise. Very very helpful!
Can you please tell me fi the cap sit loose? Most Tupperware caps lock in. But i am not certain this cap clips in. Wondering because i have many kids playing in the fridge. Thank you.
Yes it just sits on top…and don’t use it to set the inside sleeve on when you take it out like she shows. There’s WAY more liquid that will come out than the lid will hold.
