🇬🇧 I had a 5 litres electric casserole which served me for years, until my cousin messed up the nonstick surface by using metal, even after I asked him not to. I can only find the shallow replacement in UK. These DASH Mini Appliances are perfect for 1-2 people. I would buy this today, but Amazon don't have it. I'm going to have to go to Dash 🇺🇸 and see how much the postage will cost.
I’m so sorry you casserole pan got ruined. I pretty much got rid of all metal cooking utensils because my husband does not listen either lol. I’m not sure which stores you have access to in the UK but I’ve found Dash appliances at Tjmaxx and Home Goods also Walmart in store and online. Tjmaxx does have an online store also. Dash also has a larger version of the mini skillet. It is a 14” electric skillet. Try eBay also. I hope you can find a replacement! Thanks for watching!
@@adashofpixiedust Oh, I didn't think to look in TKMaxx, (is that the same as TJMaxx?) I'll do an online search. It's strange that I can't find any deep electric pans anywhere, but tons of extra large flat ones. I have a tiny kitchen with limited counter space
I’m not sure if those 2 stores are the same. It sounds like maybe they are. Indeed the mini appliances are perfect for small spaces! Plus you can store them together in a storage bin or tote. I keep most of my minis in the drawer of my bookcase. (The base is different depth drawers and the tops are shelves. Makes for easy access! I’ll cross my fingers you find what your looking for!
Try as I might I did not hear you give a real run down on it's features ...Especially am interested in the thermometer temperature range ... Just how high does it register & just how high a temp does it actually get to & stably hold .... As in does it go high enuff to semi deep fry chicken or fish in an inch or two of peanut oil ??? I like the photo of spaghetti & meatballs right on the front of it's box , because when you first started your video that's exactly what visually came into my mind , a small pot of spaghetti & meatballs all together in one pot for a one person meal... If you could or would fill me in on the temperature range that would be so helpful .... OR , If any of you ladies here in the comment section have one and have this information I'd be very appreciative if you shared it with me ... Thank You So Much ...🤗👋
Thank you so much for the great question! The temperature gage only reads low to high. There are not specific temperatures to set like an electric frying pan. Unfortunately I don’t have one of those digital thermal readers to check specific range of temperatures and how long it will hold at that temperature. I’ve found out that the unit heats up to 450°F. Not sure how accurate that is.I haven’t tried to deep fry any types of food yet. The unit does gets hot enough to sear. I’ve only used it 2 or 3 times. So I’m not real familiar with it yet. Thanks for watching!
@@adashofpixiedust Well a claim of 450 ° F. Would seem like a good enough Temp ceiling to work with being most deep frying happens between 300/325. & up to 365 ° / 374 ° F... All one would need is a digital thermometer to get it set right & put a couple Mark's on the skillet with some fingernail polish & I believe we've just eliminated that small deep fryer I was going to get , but , since it only does ONE FUNCTION , & This skillet does so much more I think we both know which I'm going to get ....L.O.L... Appliances that only have one function can't live on my counter , they have to be able to do at least TWO .....AND if I find myself running out of counter space, I think my TRUSY TOASTER just might be in peril of getting fired TOO... ......... AGAIN , L.O.L.....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Also saw a few of your other Videos ..!!!!👍👍👍 I think I'm likely to get that DOUBLE UP GRIDDLE & OVEN for making PIZZAs , it seems just perfect coz I have a few other jobs for it to do also ...................... SO THANKS AGAIN ..... LOVE YOUR VIDEOS , ❤❤❤👍👍🤗🤗👋👋
