Monty. As I investigate a project I would Like to ask, did you get your kubota from a reefer? Or from a rebuilder. I suspect your on the road now. Thank you. Jay.
I just bought this Jeep! It’s still kicking. I picked it up from a guy in PA and am bringing it to West Virginia. Would be awesome to learn more about it.

My father had a CJ-6 in the 70's, it had to be about that same year because that dash looks sooo familiar. However it didn't have that amazing power plant in it - Great job!

Nice conversion, I love the Kubota swap. i have a question, why did you choose the 2403 over the DI 2203? Any diffences like torque curve, are you planning to run on veggy oil so ID might be easier? Happy Jeeping.
@@andrewdriver3318 sweet I was hoping someone would catch this question A smaller engine is farm perfect Lots of idle time and low gears so no need for brute size….thanks!
I especially appreciate how you didn't run it long or rev the piss out of it before the installation was complete like I've been seeing in other videos. Excellent work sir!
Just found this, might be old but don’t care. Love the truck, and this is how engine swaps are supposed to be!!!!!!!!! Starts better than new, and idles like it should, awesome job.
@@gregmargison1129 what sacrifice and love your willing to expend And the results are awesom Thanks for sharing… We grew up with this truck with a studs baker engine I think we ended up with a cracked head or block and truck was sold.
What a torquey little beast....big fan of kubota engines and old jeeps. What engine did you plant inside? I'm guessing your gearing lacked a granny....?.
It's a Kubota V2203 sourced from a CARRIER Reefer unit. It has a T90 3 speed and WARN overdrive. You can see the buildup of this Jeep here: facebook.com/media/set/?vanity=OverlandDiesel&set=a.460362800725247
