Looks amazing, but also looks very poorly built. That rear fender looked like it was hanging on for dear life. Doesnt seem quick, comfortable to ride, or practical in any way.
I had an 81 CB900F in silver with the blue horizontal stripe and then an 83 CB1100F when they first came out...actually got to see them come out of the shipping crate. There was a guy in CA (Kaz Yoshima) from Ontario Moto Tech that made these bikes go really fast. He always had time to talk with you on the phone. Also, Honda sold something called a sport control kit that included rear sets and superbike bars and new controls that really set the bikes off. We used to ride them up to the 250cc Moto-X races at Unadilla and then to Loudon, NH for the superbike race...great times!
Ahhhhh, thats where all the bikes and secind hand parts went... can you please send them back as we still do want them and have changed our minds.......
Honda really do know how to waste huge amounts of money on R&D projects, this bike's predecessor was built for racing & was a total unreliable flop, Honda had so much money in it, they still went ahead with this, the customer road version NR750 even knowing it was an engineering disaster, Honda squandered millions on this project & never made a bean.
Love Adam's enthusiasm he reminds me of myself! I remember back in the day drooling over the early ZX 7's! I've owned over 50 bikes and at 48 yrs old now. My 90, 92 and 94 ZX 7's make me turn around and look back at them with a shit eating grin. When a bike can produce that reaction she's a keeper
The purple wheels on the SRAD aren't stock they was a very dark grey originally. I always wondered why Suzuki went for that hideous paint job. I had the 1996 gold n black SRAD 750 WT. I remember that addictive top end rush🤩 I also remember the night it got stolen🙄
Not actually the style of Harley I'm in to but I'm definitely a fan which in itself is kinda funny to say because I used to be so anti -Harley once upon a time. They are a whole different riding experience and when you're on one it's hard not to feel cool. I couldn't own only a Harley but I definitely hope to add one to the garage again as I do miss my Dyna from years gone by. Great review and editing. Tks for sharing Adam and @iconocmotorbikes
To be clear, that is a special model so the handling is a bit better thanks to those things you mentioned, and that has the full Screaming Eagle engine kit to give you the largest displacement available on a production Harley. All of those things make it quite a bit more expensive than a standard Road Glide.
RC30, CBX1000 and RD350. IMO, any self-respecting enthusiast must own all 3 at some point in their journey. 2 done for me, not sure if RC30 will be possible any time soon as I live in India and it's going to be a big-challenge to justify importing one at the costs they are fetching today. Fueling I think was also mentioned by Zack when he rode the RC30 on daily-rider. Nothing beats a well-tuned Carb on most classic Japanese motorcycles, 2-stroke and 4-stroke.
As an enthusiast in Japan I just ask that you make sure you source the bikes from ethical dealers in Japan. Because of the export boom our market has become unsustainable. Since covid there has been a lot more scammers/thieves and foreign sharks.
UK does not do KMs, you have bought a load of grey import junk, worthless in the UK, cheap sportsbikes are everywhere over here. , classic bike scene is dying, the age group has almost gone. Prices are falling.....biker for 45 years, 63 and ride a streetfightered Hayabusa I bought 17 years ago.
Great review...the only thing I disagree with was your statement that Moto Guzzi is targeting the multistrada/vstrom market. Guzzi does not target anything, Guzzi makes Guzzis. A lot like blue cheese; it's not made for mass appeal.
Thanks for watching! I get the intent of what you're saying in that Guzzi often marches to the beat of their own drum but Guzzi employees at the press launch specifically mentioned the Multi V2/V-Strom 1050 as competition.
an "easy" one Abhi: you guys can only have 1 bike, which one is it and why? probably we're gonna hear Adam say TLR, but curious about the rest of the guys - cheers!
This is what i love about Adam. His unbridaled enthusiasm is always so evident any time you listen to the man and his raw honesty is just so refreshing to see. ......not sure about that jacket though man 😅
