Beautiful. You Spoke of the sentiment or the feelings of peace and love doing this art . When I discover what I call them Vivariums I felt in love too ❤ thank you so much for your inspiration
Those are gigantic patches of moss you’re taking.. almost the entire patch… not at ALL sustainable 🤦🏻♀️ smh. For someone who loves moss so much, you seem fine with decimating the wild moss population. Usually people take a small inconspicuous 5” by 5” or less section and propagate it… I think you should delete this video as it promotes very irresponsible foraging practices. Imagine if the over 3k people who watched your video were inspired to do exactly as you did... the results would be catastrophic
Thank you SO much for sharing!! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Kokedama you made and the plant bowls are ADORABLE!! I've been looking at Kokedama videos thr past few days because I really want to try it!!❤
Do you just spray mist them to water them. Or do you soak them every so often and let the water drain out? Do they ever need transplanted, do the get root bound?
Questions: in my experience, air dry clay softens when there is moisture in the air. What do you coat your air dry crafts with? Is there an air dry clay that is waterproof? Thank You so much for your lovely videos; they are calming and creative❤❤
In many countries, collecting moss from the forest is illegal. I do not recommend registering evidence about yourself. I grow several varieties of moss in my garden.
I also love moss. I’m drawn to it like a magnet. I also like to work with fairy homes so I look for it anywhere. Love mushroom too . Thanks for all the secrets to keeping it alive.
You are definitely my people Joanne. I’m in the mountains now contemplating making a new video on making a terrarium because I’ve learned so much since this video. Let me know if you would like to see it. Xoxo jan
Envious of you living in an are where there is such an abundance of well-grown moss. I found some low grown 'generic' moss behind a building in the city. I've been keeping it in a pebble tray with distilled water- one of those little 9" x 4" plastic school supply boxes with a lid. It's been growing pretty good with a little spritz of VERY dilute liquid all-purpose fertilizer once a week. I'll put it in a terrarium when it's grown out more This video was very soothing to watch and the videography excellent. Thanks!
I’m not sure at all if this is ethically ok to take moss like this, on such a large scale!… also I’m imagining of every person you have inspired to do the same. 😢can you see the great bare patches you are leaving behind, and imagine all the creatures that are using this as their own habitat. If everyone collected on this scale… you are all adding to an already declining natural habitat, if you love nature so much, like you say… how it brings you calm, then go visit the places,, sit in calm peace, then as we say here in the Uk …. Go home, and leave no trace
It’s NOT ok at all!! She should delete this video so people don’t it’s ok. Imagine how many times she’s done this too. Smh 🤦🏻♀️ Take a small piece and propagate the moss if you want that much ffs! So glad videos from more responsible creators is much more popular than this one.
Thank you for sharing your technique! Adding the wool fabric is a brilliant idea. I will be sure to add this step from now on. I just started making these a few days ago and found a great tutorial video. But your instructions take the Kokedama process to a higher level! Your Kokedamas are so gorgeous. Peace & Mahalo from O'ahu!
