I'm a Tenorhorn player from Germany and I'm always fascinated about how easy it looks like even when you play high notes. Technique is one of the favorite things to learn when playing brass instruments.... I will not stop getting better, although I soon will complete my 60s.... Best regards, Thomas
Very impressive on many levels! The music is engaging and challenging to the ear. On the second view, I understood it better and was able to appreciate it more. This encourages multiple views. Congrats on the composition and the performance - Brandon Ridenour and Invoke! Beyond the musicians, I asked myself, “Wait a sec - was that all in a single take?” And it was! Kudos to Jack Kloecker credited on Video. Certainly a lot easier on everyone to edit separate shots together, but you guys took the challenge and ran with it. Wonderful job!
Absolutely mesmerizing ! Just bought your arrangement, so now I can start practicing ... ... not that I will ever reach your virtuoso level, but I will certainly have a lot of fun trying ! Again Bravo and thank you !
After purchasing the sheet music for this piece, I am astonished by the amazing ingenuity of the deceptively straightforward trumpet fingerings for the fast notes during this piece. Insane playing by everyone involved, and I love to bust out the 1st trumpet sheet music to play on various different valved brass instruments from time to time, it's just so satisfying!
That´s a really moving reimagination/performance/recording. It´s a big plus to be able to listen to something today, in a otherwise really difficult world. Thank you!
Hello Bradon, very good, but I would like to ask you a question, can you please indicate to me the trumpet methods you used, I ask you, because you have a vast experience, so what methods did you use and would you recommend me? thanks, Bradon
