You are transformed as you renew your mind. I can show you how to intentionally engage in this process and move forward in every area of life. God's presence and word are the best resources for mind-renewal. Let me show you how to meditate and reframe all your beliefs through a New Covenant lens to understand God more clearly.
I've just stumbled across this video and I know it's older and you may decide not to respond or may not even see my question, but I feel the need to ask how you understand John 6:63? "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." The way I understand this, Jesus is explaining how nothing of our mortal person has benefitted from our salvation, only our spirit in Christ. We have the Spirit of God indwelling us, but this is for the redemption of our body (Romans 8:10, Eph. 1:13).
Thanks for watching! I address those questions in more detail in these two messages: www.clintbyars.com/blog/2019/12/2/god-performed-surgery-on-you www.clintbyars.com/blog/2020/8/3/jesus-removed-your-sin-nature In short, to address your question, yes, the physical body will still perish but the spirit has been made new forever. Essentially, we are righteous in the eternal aspect of our being.
My only question is why do people hear the words it is not your time during near-death experiences? does this not imply there is a purpose they must fulfill?
That's a good question, those experiences make it sound like we have an appointed time to die. I'm not fully sure what to do with that. I would also say in those NDEs, God first affirms His love for them and then addresses things they need to do or learn. This is consistent with what I present. We are first and foremost to accept God's love for us through Christ, and then allow the life of Christ to bear fruit in and through us toward others.
What this knowledge does for me is remove (or at least 'question') the religious approach, which causes us to think of God in 'transactional relationship terms'. He has created a 'system' that works perfectly every time, not an 'oscillating prayer' life that may or may not work depending on a million other factors. To take this to another level for Christians who are prepared to study the meaning of I AM... we ARE God-substance. We never were separated from God in the Garden of Eden; we just believed we were. What Christ restored was a perfect Faith (HIS faith), and we are simply 'persuaded' of it: Hebrews 11:1-2 AMPC NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. NOTE that its NOW Faith! STRONGS 4102 pístis (from 3982/peithô, "persuade, be persuaded") - properly, persuasion (be persuaded, come to trust); faith.
@@ClintByars adults do. Babies no. I talk with many Calvinist who say babies are born sinners, and if they die while a baby they go to hell. That is rooted in sin nature being handed down through Adam. ( lie)
@@ronbo30 This video didn't claim "original sin," but does address the issue of the need to understand that our nature changes when born again. As you said, adults need to be saved.
Pastor, iam from india and what you've said is same like what iam thinking,i wonder the truth' is same i came to realise.,.tha matter is that when we have the faith that for the sake of me Jesus Christ overcome everything all the things is added to us according to what we believe and desires,it comes to life from our spirit and we have the confidence to shout out to the world even though we don't really see the outcome ir results...thats amazing because of The power of Jesus Christ
Thank you for your feedback! I’m so glad to hear that this video was a blessing to you and cleared up your thoughts for you. I pray God continues to give you wisdom and insight into his scripture.
Thanks man, i've been struggling with this question for weeks. This question made me question everything else. I couldn't have peace for a long Time. I have watched a couple Videos und your's is the only one that gave me a reasanable and in my eyes a valid answer. God bless you.
Hello, this is a challenging question to answer as we are all on a journey. The first thing is to know that Jesus paid for our healing and we have the authority to establish it in our bodies, and we have the power to help others have healing. Technically we are not waiting on God to do anything or give us anything. He has given us the seed of life by placing his spirit in us. So what needs to happen is that we connect with what he has already provided in Christ. There is no formula, there is only becoming convinced in our hearts that it is ours and staying receptive to his spirit giving us life. If we have doubt in our hearts we can remove it through prayer and fasting. But those actions do not make God give us healing, prayer and fasting serve to impact our hearts in such a way as to remove doubt and help us connect better with what God has already given us in Christ. I say prayer and fasting because that was Jesus' solution when his disciples could not heal the epileptic boy. They asked him why they couldn't heal the boy and Jesus said it's because of their unbelief, and to fast and pray to remove unbelief. That can sound like a work, but it's about the receptivity of the heart. I know this may be a challenging answer. All I know for sure is God is good and he wants you well, and Jesus made it available on the cross.
@@ClintByars Thank you for your reply I realized it is my unbelief in my heart which made me say "Why" I remember mark 11:23-24 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. I followed these scriptures "Therefore I say unto you" was given to me from Jesus Christ the Lord on the Throne of Grace I obtain His mercy and find His Grace to help me in time of need Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. In Jesus mighty name I say unto this mountain, unbelief and doubt. Be you removed. Be you cast into the sea I dont doubt in my heart but I Do believe that those things which I say, "Divine Healing from heaven upon myself my family and my beloved grandson, Hyejun" come to pass I Do believe that I receive whatsoever I say and I will have them through abundant grace and the gift of righteousness Amen Amen Romans 5:17 For if by one man"s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
@@ClintByars Thank you for your reply I meditate this Word until I obtain mercy and I find Grace of Healing upon me Amen Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
What do you mean the thing the thing the thing? You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about tell her body would walk in the spirit yes in living in the spirit what does that mean? I’ll bet you don’t know
I’m not sure what this commenter is saying either but I personally thought this clip was very profound and enlightening. Just sayin’😊 Thanks for your ministry
Thank you for the clearest sermon on Matthew 6:33. Through grace and the gift of righteousness I am given healing protection and provision in Christ Amen
NGL without the weight of sin it is absolutely pointless it is just the teaching of life and we can choose to follow it or not without consequence it's like if god didn't really want you to pray you didn't get good deeds from it I wouldn't pray and everyone else won't to
Sin always produces death, it's odd that you think that teaching people that Jesus was judged for their sin equates to sin having no consequence on their lives, just read Romans 6.
some people do take it as an excuse. they miss the point. it is not a loophole. it is an opportunity to repent without the weight of sin keeping you in perpetual sinning. it is so that you don't give up on doing good and come back to the light. you are forgiven so that you may sin no more. it is to inspire hope. hope to do better.
The hope has no meaning if there is no weight of sin without the weight of sin it's like your repenting for nothing of importance because it doesn't effect your life at all or the next life
Those people are immature and need to develop the character to understand what's at stake. However, the fact remains, it's a beautiful thing to know that you stand forgiven and if you make a mistake, God is not looking to reject you. As it says, he is the atoning sacrifice, for the whole world, once and for all.
Do you own a Holy Bible. Read it. Because the Jewish people turned their backs on Jesus, Jesus told his followers to go until the whole world and preach the gospel that the Jewish people will come back to the Lord with the Christians 😊
@melindamurrieta9843 who made your " holy" Bible? I've heard they now have king James in it too.maybe searching about the 12 tribes might help you with your curiosity why the " jews" disown jesus,aka,izza,teacher,etc.. I've read all " holy " books made and TRANSLATED BY MAN,YET NO ONE COULD TRANSLATE THE EARLIEST " "LETTERS".Mayne read book of enoch might help you.but most people scared to find out the truth, they believed on anything comes first, and never look or hear the other side of story 😀 P.s. had you noticed, your Bible changed 3 times in just few generation apart?
Putting the book aside, there is one true God who adores you and has reached out to you by coming here in the flesh to absolve your guilt before him. Say yes to Jesus and learn of God's love for you. forward.church/updates/2018/8/30/who-is-jesus-and-what-did-he-do
@@ClintByars Nothing that requires pulling out nails... it's more of a mallet than a hammer. That guy on the cross probably has the right tools, he apprenticed as a carpenter. Me, I was just smitten with that boomerang effect.
@@ClintByars beacuse that doesn't make any sens? For me, transformation happend, beacuse of rules in the bible, and in Hope that he will be better, not cuz od stright up god
It's God's spiritual power in our inner being that enables us to transform, we access this power through aligning our thinking processes with God's logic. It's a much deeper process than behavioral modification. @@JuztYuri
That's not really what prayer is. First, remember that God doesn't change. You don't pray to change God you pray because it changes you. Second, God will give you what you would have prayed for if you knew as much as he does.
I don't really follow your comment... Number one, we're not suggesting you change God with prayer. Number two, we have the mind of Christ and know all things, and Jesus is the perfect image of God, so by knowing Him we know God's will.
You know God's will? Really? You know what God wants from you, what his plan for you is. You know that God will give you what you ask for. No, you don't, except in the big picture. Otherwise, we trust him to have our best interests at heart. But the details? We know very, very little. @@ClintByars
I know exactly what God wants me to do, in general, yes, and in great detail in some areas, yes, with complete certainty. As far as God giving me what I ask for, what else is there for him to give me other than Jesus? He is the source of everything, He has everything, I am a joint-heir with him so I have everything he has, because I'm an heir of God, like you too. So God has nothing else to give me if he has already given me everything. @@scotthinzman7698
