Such a great chat! I learned lots and was inspired.

What does 1 Corinthians 11:29 mean? I’ve tried to find a good explanation for it but I cannot. How can a believer come under judgement if Jesus has already taken that judgement? Is this talking about unbelievers? Also in passages such as 1 Corinthians 5:5 and Matthew 18: 15-17, people caught in sin (seemingly believers), are kicked out of the church if they refuse to stop a particular sin. Does this mean they lose salvation? If so then that would mean it’s possible to lose salvation if you continue to sin. Meaning we have to avoid unrighteousness in order to be saved. Which completely goes against the gospel in my opinion. What are your thoughts on these verses. I see many passages in the Bible that show salvation by grace, but then I also see many passages that seem to indicate salvation by being good enough.
