We would like to thank the many friends in the "GC" who have written such lovely messages and sent so many thoughtful and beautiful gifts to help ease our intense pain at our sad and unscheduled departure from Canterbury. Please be assured that, to anyone who sent money or cheques, all have been given to Caroline in the Friends' to support the vital work that she and the association do in enhancing Canterbury, especially in creative and imaginative ways which help in the enjoyment of visitors and in the work of the many brilliant and talented staff and volunteers. We're both touched beyond words.
