You can actually do this achievement with only Kerrigan, just kite the Hybrid to any Dominion Forces and let them deal the finishing blow. Really easy!!!! Ty for the video!!!!
Wow, this my third time in nearly 3 years, catching your Video! The quick C Center, and then moving the few Marines to outskirts, and so I got Silver just missing the Gold in a commanding way, Ha-ha! I just started the Zerg Training. And still have the Protoss to learn. 1/3rd of the Equation is good. Take Care, and Thanks a Heap!
Your strategy is ok, and in theory it's good. But you have to keep moving, keep track of things all the time ... which is very difficult considering that you have 8 entrances from which orcs can come. And who is able to remember the right time from which entrance, what kind of enemy comes? No one can, so you're lying. And bomb rats can destroy your barricades without any problems, no matter how you move, or stay still.. I tried your strategy.. and the first is very expensive setup, second the bomb rats destroys my barricades every time, the third problem is even orcs sometimes destroy the barricades. So at the end very confusing, and expensive setup. 🙄👎

Great strategy! I've finally got around to playing OMD1 and I found this guide very helpful - 5 skulls first try. I did one thing different - I swapped the Wind Belt for the Bladestaff. The latter made dealing with clumps of gnolls and ogres much easier. I also made sure to get the ballista upgrade and put three upstairs as insurance as soon as I had the right line built. That helped for the occasional one or two flyers that got through.
Your guides are so clear and informative. I know this is several years on but how the hell you didn't get more views is beyond me and tbh unfair. Excellent work.
I got back into the Hearthstone recently and was looking for video essays on the game and found this. I enjoyed it even though it's old, it's actually nostalgic because of the old cards. You have a good presentation voice. I wonder how this video would change given the game currently. Probably not much lol.
Thanks for Video, brilliant! 15 Months ago the SC 2 Game I got Bronze then Silver on 1 - 3 attempt using my SC 1 10 years of experience. Well, SC 2 just the WOL mission is just about there. These Units are really a lot different from SC 1. I came close to gold back then by building an early Ghost Team that could snipe the Brutalist, but no gold. Your build 3 SCVs then start putting out the Marines is brilliant, and already I feel really comfortable with the Opening Gambit, and no need to snipe anything the units Defended! And I missed Gold by a 1 minute and 30 Seconds, my best time yet easy, and like all things, I fell asleep using your method, and although I forgot to build two Tank factories, the 1 Factory, and 2 Barracks did a very good Job for me. I'm just saying that 10 years before I had tried to play SC 2, I was wondering why the Guys were building so many Units. Well I know why now we need the units for Defense. I'm just saying that in SC 1, 1 Marine behind a Wall of supply Depots was sufficient to defend against 1,000's of Protoss while taking my time building a Huge Base because the Zealots won't attack a Depot until it is damaged by a Dragon, ha-ha! {2 Marines would kill the Zealots too fast and so the Dragon move in closer and could reach and shoot a depot and the Zealots will tear the depots down in a second.} And 2 Depots, channel the Zergs into 2 Bunkers, 3 to 5 Marines and two very quick siege Tanks while taking my time to build a huge base. I really appreciate it. Combination build and Defend is absolutely brilliant, ha-ha! Take Care
I have thors in the northwest base and 2 droppods in the last eastern section dropping in tanks.. I'm like 15 seconds short. I don't see any of these in this video, wth?
this is impossible to do period... the guys you need to find barely show up and you die before you get a chance to find them bugged and utterly dumb achievement fuck blizzard for making shit like this
Old video or not this is NOT on hard, he definitely DOES spit out enemy units against you for final boss! No matter how early I can get to him he continues to spit units out wiping out my army, the ONLY time he doesn't is normal and casual.
