Here is a log of all the broken tech that I come across in life that I have to repair. I also install new tech. sometimes its engines, sometimes electronics, it could literally be anything
My hands were wet while I was watching your clip. I grabbed my tablet and it had a notification on screen saying thank you for reporting the video. I’ve never had this problem so I don’t know what to do. I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.
James, thank you for this video. I have the same issue with my scope (no vertical adjustment) and came here to see if I could diy fix it. I am sorry that your reticule broke but the information you give is timeless. I’ll give this a go this weekend. Thanks again from North Carolina.
This video save me, my heater was starting to make a lot of noise and it was the bearings, completely toast. I bought a new motor and followed your instructions, working like a charm. It took me 45 minutes taking care of not damaging the fragile centrifugal fan. The black one came easily. My gauge for the centrifugal fan was 0.28mm, for the black fan I pushed it as much as it would allow me without rattling. Good as new.
Forget 400 watts. You're lucky, to get 40 watts out of it. A turbine generator like that would be a better match with a 3 blade rotor with a shallower pitch, so it can run at higher speed, with less torque. You can increase power by allowing a higher voltage, at that highly limited current. A pulse width modulator can be used, to turn the high voltage low current into a voltage suitable for your battery, at a much higher current, than is produced by that turbine. The problem with that 5 blade rotor is, it can never achieve the RPM, and it produces MUCH more torque, than those tiny magnets can ever hope to use.
Started using one of these yesterday. Already not working after using 2400 watts of water pump. Their manual says to use an inverter 3-4x the power requirements of pumps and inductive motors. I thought thats what the 8000 peak power rating was for.
Hello there, for that controller switch you got Inside there is two wires, red one you said has to be connected to +12v, what about black one, is this is neutral -12v?
I want to do this on my CDH , but I'm thinking of using a full ceramic bearing . These same size bearings are used in many applications like roller skates, skate boards, luggage wheels , and so on ... There's a rating for these bearings called ABEC . So an ABEC 11 bearing would be a good replacement . Hopefully a full ceramic bearing will make the heater even more quiet .
I don't get this. Why? Why upgrade to something not needed? Replace a faulty, sure. replace faulty bearings, sure. but I can't see any real upgrade here.
That was hilarious. Thought that maybe after you cleaned the screen that it would run. Must the fuel pump it not pumping the right amount of fuel. My guess.
You seem to have figured out the basic idea pretty well, but you really should keep the time the unit runs while pumping down to an absolute minimum because the stress on the compressor is huge when the suction pressure drops below the normal range and the compressor isn't getting lubrication or cooling without refrigerant flowing since the refrigerant carries the oil and cools the compressor. Also, you really don't want to run the system into a vacuum during pump down. Not only does that put a huge stress on the compressor, but when you disconnect the lines, you suck air (which contain moisture) into the system. Yes, you can suck the air out of the system with a vacuum pump, but the oil left in the lines and indoor coil will absorb the moisture, which can't be removed with a vacuum. Once you disconnect the lines, you need to immediately seal the ends to keep moisture out because the moisture will break down the oil and turn it into acid.
Hi, good work, my heater has been running on hydraulic oil since 6 months ago with good results, combustion chamber temperature 210°-220° C and 110° C hot air outlet. These values are at settings P5 through P10. When I increase to P10 after 3 hours of work my exhaust pipe is red so i work continuously on P5. Cheers
Next time I need to clean mine I will try. I will removing the glow plug and screen. Then pour pea rock, water and dawn dish soup in the exhaust outlet. Shake the crap out of it. I am thinking it is worth a try.
Need to install one of the Chinese diesel water heaters in big rigs that you take to the cold. It will keep the motors warm when sitting for long periods not running.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6leGVNJMAC8.html
Not so easy when your fans are glued to your shafts! throw away jobs now unless you spend half the price of a new assembly on new fans to replace the ones that you have to breakoff, then factor in the price of new bearings...
