Mearsheimer is a brilliant guy, and Netanyahu is a thug and a war criminal, nonetheless on this particular issue it would be nice just once to see Mearsheimer acknowledge the murderous awfulness of Hamas and the difficulty of having neighbors who want you dead and gone.
