Practice taxi first, steer with low throttle to get comfy, no matter what u do, do not apply down elevator during taxi or landing.. once comfortable, just fly and land as you would on dry land, and hold up a little elevator to flare. Good luck.
I never tried with a Hobby eagle gyro, but I don’t see why not. The idea is setting up and using all 6 channels to get crow mode.. so should be ok. Good luck.
Do you know how to update the Rx firmware with a redundancy satellite Rx connected via SBus? Have a TDR18 and a TDMX as satellite (SBus in). When following all the steps as usual the Rx for which the FW update is intended will not be recognized. Any idea how to update in this setup?
Thank you for the video, I will follow it step by step since I am very new to frsky but I am working to get things started with my radio and all frsky components. This video also helped me set up the multiprotocol so that I can use other receivers that are different brands. Fantastic information, thank you so much.
Not flying the TD yet but still helpful to watch. Your previous videos have helped me a lot. I do have one question. When I loaded the lua script for the SR10+ it created SRx Stable and SRx Calibration modules but did not create SRx Basic as shown in your video. Did something go wrong with the lua file load and, do I need SRx Basic? Keep up the great videos please.
The SRx Basic is used with a RB Mixer, so you don't need it. But you should see it on your radio after u copied it over from PC. You can try to copy it again and see.
Great video, FRSKY should pay you to make setup vids! I like how you went through the steps very quickly but made sure to emphasize information where needed. The stabilization mode can be tricky, is it better to check direction of flight surfaces first and invert where needed than run the self check or run the self check and then invert flight surfaces where needed? Also, I don't understand why FRSKY can't just do the calibration setup when the receiver is in the plane, like Spektrum, it just seems like a waste of time.
Yeah I wish.. but I enjoyed doing these hobby videos to share with colleagues, friends and families, and for myself to go back to when forget things.. anything after that is bonus. For setting up stabilization mode.. please do the self check first along with verifying direction of flight surfaces as you move the receiver/plane to correct behavior to make sure gyro is working.. Then after that, get out of the script, and go back to the Outputs icon, and verify direction of flight surfaces normally. You can refer to the video (Howto setup Canards, Elevons plane with SR10+ FrSky #Stabilizer receiver) I attached in the description to see a similar setup on a full airplane with a similar FrSky SR10+ receiver (about at 7:00 minute mark). Thanks.
Good video! It helps to have straight forward step by step visuals for things like this. I haven't done stabilized receivers yet, but your video makes it much less worrisome. Thanks!
I can't get mine to work. The full page says Zavionix Cells at the top but just a grey screen. I tried other scripts and get "Please use full screen" (in yellow) even though I have. This is ETHOS V2.5.4, the latest version. Any help is appreciated.
