I have no idea what’s “modern” about preventing nature from flourishing. Seems extremely old fashioned to me. Which is why we’re experiencing rapid ecological collapse.
@@churro.thebulldog I’d say the modern trend is recognizing that the only way we’re going to have bees, butterflies & birds is if we all recognize our little plots of land need to be friendly to nature. You could plant a native shrub with high wildlife value of some sort. A small native tree. And a few wildflowers or native bunch grasses. Or something. Anyway, there’s nothing modern about a few non-native shrubs & a patch of lawn. It’s what’s we’ve been doing for far too long. It’s literally gonna kill our kids.
@@churro.thebulldog I’m in central FL. Orlando to be precise. I have 4 or 5 native plant nurseries within an hour drive of me. The closest is 45 minutes away. Anyway, you want to look up the closest native plant nurseries near you. They are always very helpful. You could even show them pictures of your yard so they can help choose the right plants for your specific needs. I’m sooooo happy that you’re a good sport and are now interested !!!!!! The only way we’re gonna save our environment is that we all participate in creating a “nationwide park” with our little plots of land adding up to large plots of land. Plus, bringing in native bees (they don’t sting because they don’t create huge hives they feel they must protect like the non-native honey bees) and butterflies is pretty magical. You don’t have to do anything hugely elaborate. Even just several carefully chosen plants can have a huge impact. I really like you now 😉
I love this video!!! Showed it to my wife and we are planning to do something similar to our house/yard. Do you happen to have the link to where you purchased the walkway lights? Thanks!!!
Hi, thanks for reaching out. I have added that link to the product list on the video description. They are the Ring Pathlights amzn.to/3xjAK1y note that I have the "D" battery version because I like that they have a soft glow from dusk to dawn (when not activated by motion) the solar version (amzn.to/4ci4RVS) on the other hand doesn't have this feature by default, they are either on or off, I have read that you can program the solar ones to do this. (Not sure)
This is a great video! It’s rare people on YT give a coat and breakdown of items. Do you have a list of where you purchased your items. It’s beautiful! The design is incredible! Hope to see more videos soon.
You can add a wood such as teak or cedar to add to the existing over hang you want for the outdoor kitchen island. You’ll also need to waterfall it as well. I think some metal brackets would be needed to keep in place with the stone top, but ask a carpenter or professional in such areas. You can also do the wood in a fluting design since you like the modern look.
Next to the garage is a single Blue Point Juniper. Next to the fence gate, I have two Sky Rocket Junipers, and along the fence, I have 15 Emerald Greens
Can't believe the under counter mechanicals and electronics not covered with a towel. All that abrasive particulate right into the bottom and the disposal. Attention to detail is key with contractors.
Hey Enrique thanks so much for posting this vid. Especially getting to see the back side, like you said there's no footage or references. We're having ours assembled by a Handyman, who asked about pre-drilled holes. The sales rep said there were but it's nice to see them. And the HCK fridge you added was a nice touch. Think we'll do same. And your counter choice is lovely. We're getting the Platinum grill and I hope it's all they claim it to be. We have always loved and had Webers so we'll see! And I wanted to share that we have had our Gozney dome for a month now and LOVE IT. We bought a SS prep table w/ wheels on Amazon 48" x 32" and it's perfect. You'll love your Gozney.
I did get the Gozney, and it is my fav appliance perhaps ever. We've been buying our dough mainly, but the wife has been making pretty good sourdough loafs, so we've used that a few times. The platinum grill seems really nice, I love that it has lights. If ours ever fails, I'll probably upgrade. So far, we are pretty happy with NewAge (love a good plug and play solution). I like that it is very customizable. During the holidays, we bought a countertop 22" Blackstone griddle at costco, and that was a nice affordable addition (we put it away with not in use). We used a Y splitter on the side burner's tank. It's not quite a built-in solution, but for $130, I must say it's pretty good.
The cabinets come assembled. Just screw in the feet and screw them together. The grill just has to be placed and screwed, so I'd say about 1.5 hours mainly because of leveling and securing the gas tanks.
Hi. At some point, we looked at Mont Alpi. Their grill has better output than ours. The wife was very set on the look of NewAge, and that was our main reason to go with it. Also, it seemed to me that NewAge might be a bit easier customize, and that also helped us decide.
Awesome video, thanks. My sink set-up is nearly identical as yours was (my granite is nearly identical as well). The double bowl is a space-waster as you note. I was thinking i would have to use a drop in sink replacement however you were able use an under-sink mount again. Did the installers refinish the edges once the cutes were made? Im just exploring right now, but I am ready to make the jump. Double bowl sinks are such an outdate waster of sink space and make washing oversized pots a challange!
Hi. Yes, the installers refinished the edges with a round drill bit with diamonds. It looks good but it is not machine type cut and polish, if you slide your finger on it you can feel a smooth but wavy surface, This however can't be seen from afar or by anyone who is not you. We did a year ago, and I'm still super happy we found this guy.
@@churro.thebulldog Right. I have beautiful granite, I can figure why the PO chose such an outdated sink type! Im ready to get rid of the space consuming sink, asap! Finding the right craftsman is the key, as well!
