Cutting installed granite for a bigger sink and cooktop

I cannot find a contractor who would install a bigger sink without destroying the granite. I need what your contractor did with the sink. Thumbtack is not referring the right contractors yet. Any recommendation is SF Bay Area will be helpful. Thank you!

Awesome video, thanks. My sink set-up is nearly identical as yours was (my granite is nearly identical as well). The double bowl is a space-waster as you note. I was thinking i would have to use a drop in sink replacement however you were able use an under-sink mount again. Did the installers refinish the edges once the cutes were made? Im just exploring right now, but I am ready to make the jump. Double bowl sinks are such an outdate waster of sink space and make washing oversized pots a challange!

Safety note - these guys should be wearing full masks because exposure to that dust from stone cutting causes a potentially fatal lung diseased called silicosis.

Sink is great. Stove seems like overkill for that island size. And it projects out too much. Granite work is great.

What type of contractor do you recommend looking for to install larger cooktop (similar to yours)? I am not sure whether to contact a handyman, kitchen remodel companies, or something else?

Left side of the sink doesn't look like a straight edge. Was that the cam angle or is it not straight?
