It is a good gun, my complaint is with quality control on the sights or lack there of. Alignment of the sights is horrible on the one I got, on top of that customer service just want to waste your time instead of sending a return shipping label to send it in to be fixed to the point you get frustrated & tell them to pound sand. Worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with!
Of course go with Colt if you can find a decent used one or afford new. The decent quality Forge Marked UTG uses the mil spec windage screw, etc. Most all towers have play during elevation so a fabricated threaded/loctite secured guide pin is installed along with careful relocating the threaded index bearing access bore to the bottom like on most China handles. The UTG works best with the import gas block rail height detachable front sights. Both sights can be converted to night sights but not easily for those not familiar with disassembly, reassembly, mods, etc. A piece of wire can be fitted in a rail slot to keep the handle from moving rearward during recoil.

I think anything built after 2020 is a gamble. My SAM5 is over gassed and had issues, my Wasr needed to go back to Century and replaced it due to the magwell issues. The only gun that never had issues or needed to go back was my M70, idk what to believe anymore lol. The only AK worth spending 2k would be a Polytech or Galil ace gen1 in .308.
I didn't swap out to the wide forend. Even though I have large hands, the wide forend never felt right on any of my G3 type rifles, with or without the bipod. It's just my personal preference. I'm running an eotech exps 3-0 on mine and may try my Sandman S on it. I now have a compensator with a blast can that works well, so I'm not sure about the suppressor. Anyhow, thanks for the good work on the video. I'm seriously thinking of picking up another one of these. Robust, reliable, battle proven design. What's not to love?
Zastava's customer srvc is unreliable as they turn deaf ears. they won't answer their phn at sales, parts, and customer srvc dept as well eBay. They kant handle QC problems. Don't erase this msg.

Why my complaints on 5/7/2024 Zastava's customer srvc giving me a deaf ear on their M70 here on this video comment got erased ? Who erased my comment? Well, the good news is, they finally replied but stopped after i sent them the photos of bad parts as they've asked of which i've already sent to them a week ago already, way beyond 48hrs they promised at the site. today, 5/10/2024, i've sent another email stating i'm sending the two parts to them so they can actually see what's wrong and either get them fixed or send me a new pair. Let's see what happens next week. And pls, don't erase this comment bc. i still think the M70 is a great gun though i haven't fired it yet. All other parts looks good and operates fine (w/o firing of course).
probably the best cheap($30 give or take)/effective muzzle for the ak-47. obviously if you go up in price it’s outclassed but for cheapness this thing destroys the other cheap brakes.
Overall they want to make semi's the new machine guns to ban them but they know it won't be easy because of common use so now a new permitting system lol while the stolen guns will be sold on the street again restricting law abiding citizens all to protect the upper class
