Love how fiona smiled when mickey said he is ians bf,idk why they made her act like mickey doesnt care And it pisses me off how they treated liam afterwards This is what made micked the best, bc he had storylines and interactions with ians family
During ians psychotic episodes and that (the ones where he hallucinates) mickey was helping him and it also helped debbie and lip care for ian aswell. Seeing as mickey basiclly just threw himself into whatever ian was freaking out about. None of the gallaghers went even close to ian with the bat anf theres mickey literally walking up to him grabbing the bat and grabbing ian so he wouldnt freak out more. He invaded ians personal space to calm him down.
I would have included the prison scene in 6x1. When Ian admits that he only came to see Mickey because Svetlana was paying him. When Mickey tattoos Ian's name onto his chest and Ian's reaction is cold and detached. When Ian hesitates when Mickey asks if he'll wait, and Ian says nothing. "Lie if you have to, 8 years is a long time." And then Ian gives a half-assed lie. "Yeah, Mick, I'll wait." The look in Mickey's eyes right then is probably more heartbreaking than anything.
NOT IT BEING MORE THAN 7 MINUTES... tbf mickey also hurt him a lot ok esp in the earlier seasons. a relationship is not about who hurts each other more, they both love each other more than anything and that's enough for me
with my sociopath-esque tendencies, anger issues, and the fact human life is worthless to me, he better either kill me or himself. This town ain't big enough for the two of us, fuckhead!
Imagine dating someone (on/off) for 10 years -> publicly coming out to your violently homophobic father (who had you r*ped at gunpoint) and his friends for them -> they cheat on you -> steal your baby -> you forgive them coz you understand they’re unwell -> you nurse them back to health -> they dump you -> you get arrested for avenging them (granted, Ian didn’t ask for that) -> you break outta prison to be with them -> they give you false hope and ditch you to go back to their bf (I’m on Ian’s side here) -> you get yourself arrested to be with them -> they propose to you -> leave you at the alter -> and after all of that *They give you a PROMISE RING* Bitch, and I oop -
Still can’t believe they just let 10 yo Liam just drop on the L by himself like I know your family is all sorts of messed up since before he was born but you think you’d try and make your younger brothers life a bit more secure and safe
It’s the fact that Ian went from forcing Mickey to come out in order for them to be together... then to saying “we don’t have to get married for me to love you”
This is such a horrible narrative, Ian didn't force Mickey to come out, Ian didn't want to live a lie so he gave Mickey 2 options. It's understandable why Ian didn't want to hide his relationship or why Mickey was scared of Terry. Ian gave Mickey a choice, Ian didn't tell Mickey he would tell everyone himself
@@peterwilkins507 yeah but it was basically ian saying tell your violently homophobic dad that your gay or I'm gonna leave you and mickey loves ian so he really didn't have much of a choice I'm not saying he forced him but the ultimatum just didn't sit right with me
Honestly too many scenes with Noel would have blown apart the whole Emmy was the best thing apart. He really did come on this show like a wrecking ball. Like to me he was even better than Macy at some points.
