We moved to Saint John from the suburbs of Vancouver, BC, in April, 2018. We were looking for a simple life in a city on the ocean with fresh air and friendly people. After almost four years of living here, we were so in love with Saint John, we decided to make our own unedited videos to help others see the city from a front row seat. The positive response was overwhelming and so many people reached out to us for help to make their own move that we decided to become full time realtors, licensed through Royal LePage Atlantic. If you are thinking of making the move to a better and more affordable lifestyle, please feel free to contact us: welovesaintjohn@royallepage.ca or call 506-607-3095.
lovely video, yes, they’re doing quite the facelift uptown and I’m here for it. I grew up here as a child, moved away for a couple decades, but after getting married, my wife and I decided to move back to Saint John our forever home.
Born and raised on the west side. Lived on guilford street as a baby from 82 to 88 ( the big house on the left right at the 17:00 mark) and spent the rest of my years growing up on Beaconsfield ave. Love the area.
It looks great...we were there 3 years ago and heard of all the changes coming. We're visiting NB on Tuesday and staying for 2 weeks... What did you say is happening on the 9th of August?
Its a good day. I found a new "We Love Saint John" video less than 24 hours after upload. Thanks Les & Wendy. Beautiful video of a beautiful city with great info attached. I love "We Love Saint John" videos with Les & Wendy. :) Thanks.
Wow yet more surprise info through my fav duo, Wendy & Les! Looks like the weather has improved since I was there. It was lovely spending time with you both. Sending you blessings from your fan in Ontario. ❤ ❤
What a beautiful evening. Julie and I will be down at the boardwalk at some point between Aug 9-11, I'll keep my eye out for you and say hi if I see you!
Wow! What amazing waterfront. There is something special about Saint John. I fail to find the words to articulate it. It may be the aesthetic beauty of its old town with its brick and stone edifices. Or may also that incredible waterfront that has been developed. Whoever made it happen whether city council/mayor, kudos to them! Saint John may be Canada's best hidden secret. I can see why you love it so much. Just don't over advertise...you'll ruin it! 🤫😉
Literally nothing special about Saint John its disgusting and full of homeless people who are now assaulting people and even trying to kill them, its the home of the losers
Back in the 60's my Dad use to land his seaplane here and would pull up on the beach just to the left of where you boarded the ferry, back then there was only one ferry.
I used to live in Renforth (just outside of St John) and went back for a visit to the area last year after being away for about 30 years... while the city hasn't changed much... still industrial at least they cleaned up the air quality a little 30 years ago you could not breath the air anywhere in the vicinity of the pulp mill in the middle of the city. Rothesay area has really grown but it has always been where the old money in the province is and Quispamsis used to be farms etc is now very built up
LOL I lived there in 70s and 80s funny hearing how it is described in more recent times. It was better place before all the glitz took over in Hastings Cove...that was beautiful land that was destroyed.
now 2024 home buyers in Ontario who paid way over list price are now starting to loose there homes and this is just the start of it all. 2025 the banks estaminets are very very sad
I'm from Vancouver Saint John Is awesome I watch your new RU-vid uploads I miss all my friends from Lorne middle school Vancouver is Very expensive to live I might move back thank you from We love saint john
Holy smokes I was in Ottawa and Kingston ont over the last week. I will not speak bad of our roads at all again hydroplaned during rainstorm when a tornado alert came over the phone so many holes n bumps they need resurfacing badly. Love Saint John❤ and I had rare movie during sleep about us getting 100 000❤ residents By 2028 I know who is sitting in chair on video. Hi Cynthia ❤ ya
The city & the province are ruled by an evil business empire. As long as this evil business empire exists, this province will remain the poorest part of Canada.
I lived in Moncton for 26 years. It has become very commercialised with buildings popping up everywhere. I know it's good for the economy but it lacks soul. It doesn't have the old architecture and feel like SJ or even F'TON. I like Millidgeville but also Milford and Randolph. For my money any of those places and along the Grand Bay/Westfield corridor. You're great ambassadors for the city.
