Hi, I live in Leidschendam, The Netherlands. The main purpose of this channel is to provide restored historic film footage, primarilly from before WW-II for viewers to learn from and enjoy. A lot of historic film material has been digitized with outdated scanners, resulting in wobbly, faint and blurry footage. Nowadays a lot can be achieved as regards enhancing such footage by means of sophisticated software tools, including Artificial Intelligence. This involves motion-stabilisation, speed correction, contrast, brightness and sharpness enhancement, noise reduction, dust and speckle removal, and upscaling to HD with A.I. and recently even colorization! It is my hobby to get the best possible film restoration results, using my 15 year long experience and knowledge in combination with the latest software. Most films on my channel have undergone a paintstaking and time-consuming four-stage process before uploading the results to youtube. Many of my films are accompanied by CC captions.

That was a war with no doubts as to why and what you were fighting for, but these days not so anymore. Europe is full of artifacts from that time, have visited a few places and when I was younger the war was not so long ago and heard a lot of stories from relatives that have since died. Good that you take the time to enchance this old footage.
Great historical footage, but if it were not for the Channel Britain would of been occupied same as France, although in these days of missles, poking the bear as the stupid polititians that do no represent the will of the people are determined to do could end in disaster for Britain, time will tell.
Chinese were originally black people. From the video you can kind of see that, but it has changed since and modern popular chinese people kind of look another than these. Maybe in remote villages the people are still like on the video. I think this has changed with the chinese revolution and also in tibet when they invaded, they changed it there too. Just wanted to correct your statement at 16:50. You'll be happy to know that there are two original Horsa gliders in the UK. A Mk.II fuselage at the Museum of Army Flying and my personal favourite (because I work there) is a Mk1 fuselage with a MkII cockpit at the DeHavilland Museum in St Albans near London. As of now, the MkII cockpit is fully completed and the Mk1 fuselage is undergoing restoration but is on display to visitors along with paratrooper bicycles, a Ford GPW, radio sets, paratrooper equipment and relics from Arnhem. Most incredible to me is the fact that the paint on the ailerons and elevators is still there and you can see the original brown and green camouflage on the fabric as well as red warnings and indications on the lower surfaces.
