Hi, I live in Leidschendam, The Netherlands. The main purpose of this channel is to provide restored historic film footage, primarilly from before WW-II for viewers to learn from and enjoy. A lot of historic film material has been digitized with outdated scanners, resulting in wobbly, faint and blurry footage. Nowadays a lot can be achieved as regards enhancing such footage by means of sophisticated software tools, including Artificial Intelligence. This involves motion-stabilisation, speed correction, contrast, brightness and sharpness enhancement, noise reduction, dust and speckle removal, and upscaling to HD with A.I. and recently even colorization! It is my hobby to get the best possible film restoration results, using my 15 year long experience and knowledge in combination with the latest software. Most films on my channel have undergone a paintstaking and time-consuming four-stage process before uploading the results to youtube. Many of my films are accompanied by CC captions.
Russia and Germany had problems years before then. that's why they started rebuilding their military after ww1 (covertly). the US was involved in the airlift to help the war effort in Europe even tough we we not in the war. Japans power in the Western pacific and the signing of the Axis treaty bolstered Hitler, but by that time we had steel mills running and going to war was...i guess unavoidable.
You can really tell that some of the buildings were inspired after British styles (not the palace, obviously). But the brickwork ones could exist in the U.K.

My great uncle was a steel worker on the Empire State building. Worked on it from the bottom to the top. He was well into his eighties when I knew him in the 1970's. A tough, no nonsense generation.
My dad was a army ranger that went up the cliffs, he didn’t say too much until I came home from Nam. He told me of the Nazis shooting down on them, he told of many thing I never heard but he killed allot of Nazis, which it was sad. No man should die in war, I watch my share in Nam.

Mijn moeder en ik hadden hadden enkel nog wat suikerbieten en wat bloembollen, mijn vader zat in kamp Amersfoort. Op die fiets proberen wat van boeren te krijgen, maar omdat wij niets meer hadden kregen wij niets! Wij woonden in Amsterdam. Herinner mij dat wij na de bevrijding van een Canadese soldaat een reep chocolade kregen, zal die smaak nooit meer vergeten. En die Christelijke boeren ook nooit!😡😡

Germany didn't have a chance against the Allies in 1944. And the German soldiers knew it. Which is why most of them gave up and surrendered. If Hitler had gone to the front in 1944, his own soldiers would have killed him.

Excellent video. Just a note that at 8:07, the US divisons you have marked landing at Utah & Omaha beaches should be reversed. 4th at Utah & 1st & 29th at Omaha. Keep up the great work.
