Check its steering, suspension and any leakage in the engine bay.. if these are Ok then you may go ahead for around 8-10 lacs seeing the condition of the vehicle . Thanks
@@yaatrigan6414 very small issues which were resolved during normal service schedule... One was oil leak stains for Power steering...repaired with additional 200 INR, another was, oil leakage stains on engine head which was also repaired under warranty... Rest is fine. It's very stable now for more than 1 year now. Service was upto the mark without any issues.
@@dipakvanjani8967 If you get it at around 9 Lacs Rs. is a good deal. However check service record, tyre conditions, battery and insurance due date. If these things are ok then you may pay upto 9•5lacs INR. Also note it's mileage will be 8kmpl to 14kmpl depending on the driving conditions.
There are 3 main points you need to consider while driving 1. Press the accelerator as gently as you can , accelerate in such a manner that you avoid braking as much as possible. 2. You can shift from drive mode to neutral where ever you feel it is safer and you don't need acceleration 3. Use AC judiciously and in Eco mode. Switch off the AC when start moving from still and as soon as you get momentum, switch on the AC However to squeeze out mileage you compromise driving thrill, comfort and safety also so please strike your own balance depending on your requirements. Thanks
Sir I have a doubt that I’m going to buy This xta version but is it good for some extend of off-road type of road because I used to go on mines and all, please help Sir. Some people says that Xta version or all the automatic cars get stuck in muddy area or in good Sandy condition please reply sir so I can clearly know about the car’s capability in automatic....
XTA is 4x2 which can not be good off roader as XT 4X4 can be. However in mud it is equally capable as 4x2 XT is. To handle mud better you can put more load in the rear of XTA or 4x2 XT for better traction. Also it is rear wheel drive so you can not take advantage of turing steering and accelerating to gain traction. Better carry some recovery rubber mats to overcome such situations. There are professional recovery rubber pads are also available for this purpose. So it is not automatic issue at all but 4x4 against 4x2 and also putting more weight on the rear axel of XTA can help you in case of crisis. Take it anywhere but 4x2 is always tricky in heavy muddy conditions. You can also use XTAs manual mode to handle the situation better. Also never use braking on slippery or snowy surfaces. Use manual mode of XTA to switch gears faster than manual 4x2 version , would give you better control over manual and slow clutch releasing hassles of XT or any manual 4x2 suv. Also in snow or mud you can wrap nylon strings around 2 diagonal wheels for much safer drive. Enjoy driving 🚗 Thanks

In Chandigarh it is 9 kmpl in summers, 11 in winters, 13 summers highways, 15 winters highway, 17 if driven between 80-85 with gentle acceleration only . This is after adjusting speedometer and odometer errors which actually shows over mileage of 1.8 kmpl.
@@todheeraj I wish if u could come up with a video which includes running costs or service cost.. i have watched so many hexa videos however ur videos give me more confidence to go for hexa just coz they r more genuine 👍
It is just going in rain without umbrella but sometimes you don't have it. Similarly these hardworking drivers find the chains expensive and time consuming but if given for cheap they would love to use. Also there is alternative to chains which is nylon rope which can be used effectively. Thanks
Dono ki mileage almost same rahegi but innova can be more practical on narrow roads . However if you want offroading capabilities then Hexa is your pick. HEXA steering is slightly heavy than Innova. Depends on what you need. Hexa is heavier but torque is much higher than innova I.e. 400NM except XE model. Torque helps in pulling the vehicle easily so average doesn't drop for Hexa. Manual Hexa will always give you better average but may not be as easy to park on narrow spaces in Hilly areas. So buy Innova but if you need higher ground clearance, better suspension, better comfort and slightly better average then buy Hexa.
Perfect and confidence aspiring.. In automatic you can use both hands to control it well. In manually ladies may feel its heaviness while taking u turn or parking.
@@todheeraj yup...I hear so much abt heaviness of its steering wheel...I think you could have some difficulties while negotiating u turn and while parking ...is it ????
@@ananthumohan2956 with 1 hand you may feel little heavy but with both hands it is quite comfortable. That is why automatic is the best in all respects, you don't need to use one hand to shift gear. You get used to soon and then you can manage it well, it is a heavier car and steering gives you lot of confidence on bad roads or on highway . But automatic..it's the best thing around at such money. Better you drive both manual and automatic to decide.
@@todheeraj bt I love manual transmission....why don't they introduce a lighter steering wheel for hexa....even Xuv has quite lighter one...hope for this change
@@ananthumohan2956 yes XUV500 is light steering, with light weight ,light suspension, light quality, less space but high on features. Upto you. It all depends on your choice. Happy motoring
Amazing review. I dont know of any other SUV in this class which gives this mileage. Besides TATA hexa is loaded with features in the upper models compared to other SUVs which cost 4 lakhs more. TATA has scored better than most in Safety ratings....Hexa is truly a quality product and Indians should stop thinking low about TATA vehicles...infact you get same quality as many other brands for lesser cost.
It is just keeping you and your family safe...they are localities so small accident may not bother them much but for a tourist it can spoil the whole tour.
There are many videos floating for replacing Hexa low beam projector bulbs with LED lights having integrated fan assembly at rear . I want to emphasize that It is not feasible unless you compromise light housing water and dust insulation. However you can get the LED lights installed in High beam of Hexa. But the procedure is very long as bumper needs to be removed for proper locking of LEDs inside the lighting. If you fit LEDs just by removing side cladding inside the mudguard, chances of poor fitting are very high. Thanks
Should i buy.....? How many km run done till date of yours..... & How is performance now.....? Any maintainance or other issues you fased..... Kindly reply.....
Mine is just 14K but other people I met during Hexa servicing did some 50K plus without any iasue. It's typres run close to 70 K km and first apaid service costed me 5500/-. You can see my other video...2600 km family trip ... for further detail. I got reference that some business unit has done 1.5 lacs km but that was XT and not for XTA.
It gave some irritating noise from the door whixh was just due to locking unlocking notch which was fixed by tightening within 5 mins. Nothing else however I doubted every noise for Tata motors quality fitment but I proved wrong when I found it was due to some object lying in my car. Rest assured.
If you have budget Go for Alturas...HEXA XTA is biggest value for money ever available at this price...after 1 year of ownership I am more than happy .
Up to you. XTA is doing fat better than my expectations... No issues at all except 1 minor noise from the locking unlocking notch which was fixed during last sevice . You need to get the foot rest installed of you have elderly people as seats are quite high .
1.5 km more than automatic local...on highway 1 km more than automatic. You may expect 9-12 local and 15-17 hoghway depending on the weather and traffic conditions. THANKS
I have an xta as well good vehical expect for below problem.Wanted to check if any one has the same 1. I put the diver seat in complete upright position after few hours it slides down back and i have to pump it again 2. Rear door handle remain out while opening and does not go back 3 just two days back dealer called for some gear box bracket updation after tht cab noise has increased, clear wind sound from outside Really feel pitty on and helpless although good vehicle but post service quality needs to improve..
Point number 2 can be cleared just by lubricating the contact point, I had this problem with my SX4. Point 3 ...They updated all automatic hexa ..for cabinet noise ask them thoroughly check and fix.. should not be very big issue.. Seat problem must get addressed.. Ask them to repair...They will do it as it is under warranty.
@@todheeraj thanks for reply point two was addressed 4 months back resurfaced again within 1 month ,seat problem was addressed same 4 moths back they never seems to solve the problem.can noise came all of a sudden not sure of those people will understand...thinking of selling as not confident if after 1 year there will be less problem. Thanks Dheeraj will try my last luck
@@todheeraj tomo they are picking up my car as they had introduced heavy straches in their workshop during upgrade will tell them about my problem if they dont solve will do as advised by u. Thanks buddy
Not very sure but at least 4 lacs km. Seeing this engine was designed by diesel engine specialis AVL Austria with mostly imported components except it's block and head . Also this engine is doing it's duty in Safari 2.2 dicor for almost 10 years. This engine was vastly tested in Europe for all conditions and it's longevity. Thanks
Thanks.....Sales person told me that engine block of hexa is of aluminium but i think it is of cast iron as mostly big 2.2 ltr engines have to last for long and that is why they are made of iron. also there is lot more engine knocking when it comes to diesel engine and side walls of engine block are made of iron in diesel
