I'm a watercolor landscape artist sharing my love of all things moody art. I'm passionate about bringing the beauty of nature to life on paper, and want to share it with you. I specialize in painting moody landscapes, so you'll find most of my videos centered around that, however, expect a sprinkling of other creative videos in the mix. I'm also a lover of aesthetics and always try to bring calm and cozy natural elements into my art; for me, and, for you. I hope to not only teach you more about watercolor, but to add a few minutes of calm to your day. Join me and our lovely Painting Moodscapes community here on RU-vid while we embark on this artistic journey together and capture the essence of moody art in every brushstroke!

Someone mentioned your name on Kristen Van Leuven utube video... said you did something similar with misty trees and that you're from the Pacific Northwest!!! That's where I grew up ... then onto California at 18! You paint beautiful landscapes!! I've already visited your post!!! 🎉 Happy painting!!! Thank you from a California Gramma ❤️
Is there a way to get a download if this swatching? It’s helpful when deciding on which of the paints to add to the Deep Deep Light paints I already have.
Learning to paint the way you do is a goal of mine. Or at least to incorporate some of your techniques using my own style. Thank you for your videos, to say I think they’re beautiful is an understatement!❤
My earliest memory of art was when I was 4. I had created a picture I was so incredibly proud of. My younger cousin came over later that day and scribbled all over my “masterpiece” with permanent marker. I was inconsolable! When I finally fell asleep, my dad somehow rescued my art and removed her scribbles. To this day, I don’t know how he did it.
After a trip to the inside passage of Alaska, I wanted to paint the incredible beauty I was blessed to see however, I didn't know where to begin. Thanks to your tutorials, I now have the confidence to begin a project and capture the surreal views I remember of water, trees and mountains rich with mist. Thank you!
Thank you for putting your paint and water on opposite sides so we can see what you are getting! Most videos you can't see and you're left wondering what they are picking up on the brush. This is very helpful.
I’ve always been a tea drinker even as a child I loved a very weak milky tea as a treat now and again, I blame being English on that. As an adult I love Earl Grey and my coffee preferance is iced. I make my own cold brew with French coffee and chicory and love it with lots of milk.
I absolutely love this. You’re amazing and way too critical of your work. It’s beautiful. Thank you so much for your tutorials. Can only hope to achieve the same skill as you, with loads of practice. ❤
I'm hoping you still check comments. I love your "misty" forests and am practicing. Where did you get that wonderful lamp that is next to your painting. I can't find one like it. Thanks for these great tutorials.
My friend and I found your videos while on a cruise ship to Alaska. We’d find a table with a view and set up the iPad and paint your mountains and trees in the mist. Other passengers would stop and ooh and ahh even though we’re beginners. Thank you for your lessons and easygoing approach and we both are subscribed and look forward to more videos. ❤
