The Mavericks Surf Awards is a video performance contest where athletes and videographers submit their best surf videos of Mavericks throughout the season. Winners will be selected for the following categories, with a male and female winner in each: Performer of the Year, Biggest Wave, and Ride of the Year. The prize money will be split 60% to the athlete and 40% to the videographer/photographer.
