My channel has videos from a wide variety of subjects. From welder reviews and general welding related stuff to camera reviews, audio gear reviews and even some silly stuff and more.

Some have suggested/requested I set up a Patreon page, so I have done so. I greatly appreciate any support, but it is not required. I will continue to make videos and they will be available for free to everyone. Thank you!
This is a cheap welder for what it claims. Performs mostly like a cheap welder. I'm sure most that paid big money for it, loves it. The I'm confident I didn't get screwed mentality. On measuring the AC output it is possible to get errors on measuring voltage if a complex waveform. Checked meter on other ac welders? Feels like less amps than otther ac welders?
There are Yes welder fan boys, HF fan boys, Arc Captainfan boys ect. Doesn't seem to mater they're being lied too.. they are true believers. Some are seeing through the bs and seing some value that it can do what they need, others don't believe you because so many on youtube say they are great and they believe the bs instead.
I'm not sure if you are suggesting I got the welder for free or not. Arccaptain (and others) have offered me free stuff to review. I always turn it down.
So I noticed you were a long arcing your welding rods you were getting way too far away from the base material in every case that I saw you with a rod welding. it doesn’t seem like you have very much experience you were unable to keep the rod on the base plate.
@@CentralIowaAudits it might seem like that from the camera angle and zoom, but I was not long arcing. In most cases, the flux is lightly scraping as I go.
Project Farm tested the new black case model, hard to says if his tests were for running at 160A. His max out test was for three seconds.... He said it was a great value.
There you go again, you're not feeling the Yes love. Which pill did you take , the red or the blue one? Do you ever test Everlast welders? I've been looking at lightweight welders to use when repairing pipe fence on dad's farm. I sometimes use a 10yr old Lincoln 140, it has a handle but... It also over heats and trips a breaker if you don't watch the 20% duty cycle because it is maxed out welding on the fence ( plus there a little wires sticking out everywhere I didn't clean the rust). You would never want to build fence with it. So a stick machine that handles 6011 at least is necessary. In watching your vids several cant handle 6011. Wow! You need a fast freeze penetrating rod sometimes. When anyone get these cheapo welders to work for them at home, they don't understand the problem. Some even say they have no problem running it on max, but how high is max? So yeah, if you get a welder that gets up to 160, you can do a lot. I've been in electronic repairs and see the bs. I know there are some that don't understand there is a difference even amongst the chinese brands or one made for an established brand There is a common myth they are all made in the same factory. Seldom. Many RU-vid creators don't shine a light on their weaknesses ( perhaps they signed a contract). This is why brand loyalty used to be a thing. You found a good brand and had faith that they wouldn't switch you to a turkey the next time. It does;however, keep you from finding a bargain.
The outtake was funny. I have a fairly large everlast mts211. ( another one of those ; lets put a handle on it and call it portable) It has several settings to.adjust for each process. You step forward and adjust the setting in about 2-3 seconds or it steps forward for you. Very annoying. Specs aren't everything.
Nice review. I would add with my MX Keys keyboard, after about a year of daily office use, the key surfaces are showing wear, letters are worn off and the thin plastic cover on the enter key has completely worn through to the button and LED underneath. I have not been able to find replacements.
You must be wrong. There are dozens of youtube content creators that say Yes Yes Yes they are a fantastic bargain. Their "about us" sounds fake yet, they get millions thrown at them on Kickstarter for preorders. They are marketing a product that people want, it falls way short. Did they ask for their welder back since you dissed them?
great video! I need a compact XLR shotgun mic for my FX30 when I use the XLR handle. I'm on a budget so I'm thinking this Sony VG1 would be ok or the cheaper Sony ECM-XM1...do you have any experience with the XM1? is the VG1 much better? Thanks- PS I have a NTG-2 but I find it too long for the camera...in your tests the VG1 sound cleaner than the Rode NTG2-I think
Who is clowns bullshitting with this patriotic name the patriots day of their responsible for the patriots in red China this whole entire piece of shit is made in China
It's obvious they are running a Kamala Harris word salad game. They copied Honda's inverter generator technology block diagram but replaced the Honda combustion engine/brushless generator combo power source with a (cheap & dangerous but high capacity ) lithium ion battery (as opposed to an LFP type that avoids cascade). Total false representation. They can change the description to "Hybrid Solid State Battery" and be safe from consumer advocate attacks like this one, but their misrepresentation gave you license to do the right thing and call them out for lying to American consumers. Thankyou.
Unfortunately, I have limited time and at the time I had this machine, I had less space than I do now. I ended up giving it away not too long after the review. I don't have any way to get an update from the person I gave it to. So I can't give a long-term update. Sorry.
I have one and love it. It is 1/2 the price and does what I want and need. This guy must have the money to spend on a high end video camera and must hate this company that made a good camera. If you’re interested in buying this camera watch a video that compares the two cameras side by side, do listen to a negative box opener that is a hater on competition.
Thanks for producing that very interesting test. Looking at the waveform from your audio, the latency is 61.54 msec. (BTW, the two sources are anti-phase.) That's about 1/16 second, so significantly more than one video frame. If you use this for double-system sound, remember to head-slate and tail-slate each take. You will definitely need to slide the track in post, to get it in sync. Out of curiosity, since this system comes with two mics, is the receiver output two separate audio channels; or are both mics mixed/combined into a single mono channel (which would be much less useful)? Peace, out.
All good advice for beginners. If and when you start reviewing specific recorders, I'm sure you'll explain the difference between MP3 and WAV. And most people don't understand that there are different types of WAV ... some "voice recorders" use ADPCM encoding, with a WAV file extension, and ADPCM sounds much WORSE than MP3. So you've got to be sure the wave file is encoded at 16 bits per sample. Also, my hot tip for pocket "voice" recorders is the Olympus WS-700m. They're often on eBay (used) for under $50 and they outperform some of the more expensive recorders from other brands. (OTOH Saramonic SR-R1 has a LOT of inherent problems.) Good video! Keep up the good work!
Have you tested a 110v yeswelder flux 135? I have one and need to figure out what breaker to get so I can run it at higher amps. I need it to practice uphill welding.
An excellent review. You covered everything thoroughly. Mostly, unfortunately, bad news. The most troubling detail is the corrupted file. That is definitely not acceptable, all other things aside. Next on my list: lack of recording level meters. Let's say I'm going out to some new recording "situation" and I want to make sure I don't clip the recording. I would need to make a test recording (impossible in many cases, e.g. if the band isn't playing yet). Then I'd need to transfer that file to my laptop (which I'd need to take to the gig). Then look at the file in some audio software, to see whether the levels are appropriate. Finally, go back to the recorder and possibly change the gain. Next on my list: the maximum file length setting: pointless and detrimental in many situations. Next: lack of keypad lock. Etc. etc. As the saying goes, "you can't fix stupid" and this recorder mostly can't be fixed. The exception: the cheesy battery door *can* be fixed with gaffer's tape. So thanks again for the detailed review. Now I see why AliExpress is selling these for $42.00. P.S.: Which Sony stereo mic did you use for the test? It sounded relatively good.
@@landoncarter6452 It is. My cousin has been using it around his farm for years. He had a small issue with the trigger in the MIG gun. He was able to fix it himself. No other issues.
Sorry these post cause price to rise. Think good camera but Sony cx405 better neather 4K. Cannon has touch screen 25 optical zoom 57 with digital. Stabilization not as good as sony
I had this camera for a few years. I was very happy with it. What I was missing was a better image stabilizer. But otherwise it's a great camera. Now I have a Panasonic HC-X20 with a better image stabilizer. If SONY had developed this camera further, with a better stabilizer, it would be a very good, super camera with very good workmanship.
I just bought this it works great thanks for recommending this welder im running 7018 and 7014 on 120 v plug in no problem . I highly recommend this welder you will be glad you bought it
Seems the Yes/No = Maybe welders seem to be your favorite. How much did they pay you to find that one edible apple? -) Note: It is hard to recognize the brands from the little pictures in the chart, a chart with brand model might be easier to understand. I bought a neverlast (darn it it's still lasting , I was looking forward to crating that thing up) about 3 yrs ago when the reviews were just starting to say that the new inverter brands from HF were ok (still that 90 warranty/lack of parts deal). Everlast used to send out tones of welders for review and use for reviewers. HF and Yes/Maybe welders have taken that over. A bunch of other reviewers must have signed that non disparagement video contract for Yes money. To them they are a Yay welder!!!
I know the little graphics are a bit small. I just did that for this video and since I talk about each one and show them larger first. In the future, when I show the graph, I plan to put text for the welders.
