I am 81 years old and the title of this song rang threw my head. It seems when I was a very young boy my dad worked for a man, who's son I worked with the summer I was 17. Melvine Meacham told me he remembered my dad sang this song when he was a young child. We thought he had made it up. This morning the song rang threw my head. After looking it up here we are! Thank you Google and this band! Another great memory of Dad. What a wonderful man he was 🎉
It’s not the finest of jobs but I’ve not done much spraying, it has a couple of runs. I had the original paint matched by Craftmaster and it’s now available from them. Thanks for the positive comment.
Still a few odds and sods to knock off the list but he'l be ready for a few outings this year. You were one of the folk I had noticed following, the ones I realised were owed an update. Hopefully Sir., before too long I will find a moment to fasten in the camera and take you all for a noisy, shaky ride on the highways!
Hola tengo exactamente un motor de esos.. pero me complica su manejo, me puedes por favor explicar cuál es la función de cada palanca, cuanto aceite se le agrega en el Carter es que desconozco de el y quisiera aprender más , de antemano muchas gracias
Hello, the first lever you see operated is the de-compressor used to completely eliminate compression while hand cranking up to starting speed, when you are turning the crankshaft fast enough it is moved to the full compression position as seen. The engine is started with the second lever in the position seen here, in this position the engine has an extra high compression ratio which enables starting from cold without and glow plugs or other heat source. When the engine has started and runs up to speed the second lever is moved to the run position. I hope this helps?
@@adgecutlerofthewest muchas gracias,. Otra pregunta ella debería escapar compresión por la palanca de arranque en frío o no debería existir ningún escape por allí
As the driver’s were disabled they could not have used the tickler on the carb. Anyway the fuel pump would have made that superfluous. But excellent job.
The tickler is very easily accessible but actually unnecessary, this engine only wants a tiny amount of time on the choke also. There is no fuel pump on this model, fuel is simply gravity fed.
I've just posted one of your videos to the HubNut fans group. As you may know, Ian Seabrook (Mr HubNut) has successfully recommissioned a type 70 Invacar, which he calls TWK (pronounced "took.") I expect there will be a lot of interest in this among his fans and followers, and may I just say she's looking fine now! 👍🏻
Clever Dynastart Rotor Puller. I have a few 9E engines with reversible Dynastart units on them but I took the lazy route and purchased a ready made puller to do mine. I have found that they can have two different styles of brushes. One set has the brushes all identical, the other has the leads exiting the brush on different sides so there is a pair of right handed, and a pair of left handed. The wire terminals are also different between the sets. One has flag tyle terminals, the other an inline terminal, and I do not know how to tell which style brush has been fitted until I remove the rotor. Helping the stock of spares here in North America is the fact that at least one style of the brushes was used in Harley Davidson golf carts.
There are two different manufacturers of DynaStart used on these engines, one being Siba and the other Bosch. Both units are very similar but do have slight differences.
Brian goes and stops! brilliant work, well done. When you have finally finally finished you should put a video together of the walk around when you bought Brian and then a walk around restored and driving.
@@hiliak Sad to hear that, I never got an invite this year either but will be helping a mate with his exhibit in another section. We'll have to arrange another time and place to exchange the saw.
