Thank you for sharing this part of your testimony! Truly was a God sent that your video showed up in my feed. 20 weeks pregnant with our second and planning for home birth - I’m super excited and your story truly brought me joy and peace thru the Lord knowing that yes I can and He will see me through this. Seeing your kiddos holding your hand and speaking life into you during your labor and delivery was so heart warming. Lord bless this sweet woman and her family!

This video is so impressive in so many ways. I honestly have no idea how Lena can do so much homemaking, care taking of her children and other housework while in hard labor and having contractions.

This is so specific to your needs. No first time mom should follow most of this. You never know what you are going to need. You are establishing what your needs are as a momma. This is good if you have a few kids and know what you typically need. This is also the second video that says babies don’t need much for their skin. Another mom specific thing. You don’t know till you have your little one. Most kids with lots of melanin need moisturizer. It’s always good to have a good natural oil on hand which is one of the best things for cradle cap and little dry ankles or flaking facial skin. People please. First time mommas. Put it all on the registry till you know your needs. Then for your next baby make these kinds of decisions

My kid repeatedly did the same kind of mistakes,i've told him like thousand times, he is 8 years old but he keep on doing the same things with a face expression that indicates as if he is teasing me so it makes me soo angry everytime on him.... but i really get frustrated and regret after scolding me and in this way i ruined my whole day because i can't focus on anyting....the regret is alot. I am the one who apologizes to him , he never took the step to apologize to his mother first.... this is really frustrating.
@girlteachme
@girlteachme 12 дней назад
Ah I feel your frustration in this comment, whew motherhood is the hardest job, but the most rewarding in my opinion. I love that you apologized first. I have talked to sooo many adults and they just wish so badly their parents had one time even said they were sorry. Praying that your love and how you are modeling forgiveness melts your 8-year-old's heart to do what is right. I get the regret too. Praying tomorrow feels like a fresh start for you. ❤

So glad to see other women struggle with this too. I'm honestly at my wits end. I wanted so badly to be a stay at home mum, and I'm so lucky to have an amazing husband who works hard to make it happen, but I'm absolutely hating it at the moment because I feel so frustrated about not being able to cook anymore or keep the house clean like I used to. I get to the end of the day and can't quite compute how I've managed to spend that many hours on just feeding, changing, burping and playing with our son. Everything I do with him seems to drag out and there's never enough time for the other things I want to get done because he cries if left alone for more than 5 minutes and hates the baby carrier. People tell me not to compare myself to "instagram mums" but it's not really them that I'm comparing myself to, it's my own Mum, who managed to have 4 children (all 2 years apart) and keep home properly and my Nan, who had 7 and who wascan amazing cook with an immaculate home who also sewed and knitted most of their clothes by hand! How did these women used to do it?! It seems like some unfair magic trick that they seem to know that I don't. Or did they just put their babies in a cot and leave them screaming while they went about their business, is that the secret?? I don't understand. 😭😭😭

Hi there, I LOVE your videos, I've watched so many. I thought you shared somewhere some suggested wording around asking for second hand items and being specific about 'sticking to the list' re: baby registry items that I really liked, but I can't seem find it now....am I loosing my mind? If yes, I blame pregnancy brain. If no, thank you in advance for pointing me in the right direction!

Thank you for this! I’m currently 35 weeks with my fourth and have been trying to get mentally prepared. My first was stillborn on his due date due to a knot in the cord and I have struggled with fear in all of my pregnancies and births. This will be my last and I’m determined to have a faith-filled, redemptive birth experience. This video was beyond encouraging!

I wanted a birth with no medication but that didn't work out I was scared and just the pain was so intense and that was just the contractions. I immediately got the epidural. I don't think I can go through labor and birthing without something. I'm on my second pregnancy now and watching this makes me want to just get through it strong and with God, which is what I wanted the first time. But I was 18 and nowhere near prepared to what I was about to experience. I hope I can do better this time but imma be honest I doubt it because I am still scared to go through it again.

I love your story and your testimony. I’m pregnant with my third and have had two unmedicated labors so far and am praying for a third. But your attitude of surrender is really wise and a good reminder to me. Also, I have a 5 year old girl who I’ve considered inviting to the birth. I love knowing you included your 5 year old.

Hot drinks have been a big aversion for me. And I'm a big coffee and tea drinker so I've been really sad about that. Ice cold drinks, especially lemony ones have been absolutely necessary. I found taking my prenatal supplement at bedtime made a difference to the morning nausea.

I agree. We don't need to go with every trend buttttt but it's told from someone with 5 kids. I'm sure with your first kid, you enjoyed buying things and obviously found what you do and don't like. Everyone will learn these things on their own. I'm glad your 5 baby items and work for you. :)

There were times when I heard Christ speaking to me about surrender+ being a witness...in thee most painful seeming experiences. Í actually once surpassed thee mental hurdle of pain + it brought me euphoria+ deep relaxation in nature. Fear is thee mind not wanting to be present with thee body to me. Being a first time mom this May I feel like all of my pain has led me to be prepared for this + it has thee best reward. I usually feel people speaking about Christ to prove themselves, but I feel thee connection in your words to the conscious part of thee energy that comes in visions + hearing+ other ways for other people.
