DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. We've had ours for just over 2 years and its constantly freezing over. We have to remove everything and unplug it once a week for it to defrost. I called the "help"line and was basically told to kick rocks. Even though this video says if the compressor is hot to the touch then it is likely going bad, the phone rep said that only applies if its not cold at all. She said since its freezing over, the compressor is working and doing its job, and therefore would not be covered under warranty... I'll be contacting the BBB.
The front load units do not require filter replacement. Lint is expelled through the drain. There are filter screens in the water inlet connections, and a drain pump filter that may require periodic cleaning. You can find this on pages 19-20 in your users guide. Thank you
bought brand new, followed the directions, water fills up the tray and then the machine indicates to add water and dumps the water out of the tray. how can this be fixed?
dont make this crap in the first place. Cooling section suddenly not cooling at all in 2 months of using it. Again! About 60 days of using. Only freezer works. any solution to fix ?
Can you add more detail on the control board disassembly? Do you just pry that piece out or are there screws in it? Is the thermostat setup with an adjustment for calibration...???
I bought one of these recently and what the manual and video doesn't tell you is that the power indicator light will blink on and off when it's plugged in but not in use. This is normal.
@@EricaRuth1974 I like to build models so I have like a I guess you would call a scalpel? extremely sharp little knife and I was just gently cutting the old hose off to replace a new one and cleaned off the glue. And I used a drain washer hose to replace it looks perfect.
@@MagicChefUSA Im not sure the model but its white and average sized pretty plain and basic and about a year old. I turned the temperature from coldest down to cold and its runs quiet again. Seems like it gets louder the more cold that it runs.
@@MoonChild-1994 Our 10 cubic foot model uses a fan in the upper compartment to circulate cold air to the refrigerator compartment. is the sound coming from the top or bottom of the refrigerator?
@@MagicChefUSA The sound is coming from the top. When I open the freezer and tap on where the cold air blows out, it stops making the louder sound for about 2 seconds.
The range of the refrigerator temperature control is from position "1" the cold to "7" the coldest. Adjust the temperature control to the setting that best suits your needs. The setting of "4" should be appropriate for home or office refrigerator use.
This is our current model in that size. Available at The Home Depot, $169.00 www.homedepot.com/p/Magic-Chef-3-3-cu-ft-Mini-Fridge-in-White-HMR330WE/305026419
Mine last one year. Piece of junk. Checked the water pump motor had debris in it. Cleaned it and put it back together. Still does not work. All this cheap quality Chinese Junk! Please note that I repair electronics for a hobby since I was in my teens, that is about 45 years. 150 bucks for one year! JUNK JUNK JUNK!
Is the unit running? If so, Running, not cooling could be a refrigerant leak or bad compressor. If not running, does the run light come on? Any sounds? (Clicking) No sounds could be a failed thermostat. Clicking sounds could be a bad start relay, motor protector, or compressor. Feel free to contact our office at 888-775-0202 for further assistance. Thank you
