Thank you for your effort on trying to explain the Taiji symbol. I rarely found one that is as accurate as this one. From the perspective of a person who studied and read a lot of books about Yi King, i would like to add some useful esoteric insight about this Yin Yang symbol that everyone trying to learn Yi King must notice. First, when you read the trigram, as well as the hexagram, always start from the center of the Taiji inside out, because the energy, the Qi, always starts generating from the inside. Secondly, there are two variants of Taijitu, the one with the border inside that shaped like an "S" and the one like a "Z". The "S" one represents the "before heaven", the other one the "later heaven". The before heaven represents the blueprint of how two opposites react with each other, how the Yin and Yang work and how it transforms. It also represents the movement of Yin and Yang in space. The later heaven represents the history, the traces of the Yin and Yang after its phases of transformation, or time.

Awesome and if we take the Sun as the son of god jesus then we can see how the theatre in the sky played out. He rose and banished darkness ...sunrise...and lucifer went down. I imagine without books or ipads that the night sky was the ultimate theatre. A story unfloding each night with interpretation handed down.
